Well they opened a whiskey and espresso bar down the street. Was hoping it would have coffee before work. Not happening. Wonder if I could get an Irish coffee to go and walk home
This is pretty cool just for my area of interest. A sake made by a v-tuber who works for the one v-tuber company I like watching just won third place in an international wine competition. Although, it's under the sake category, cause it's sake. Apparently, it's not like the company just told the brewer to make a sake, she actually had a major hand in the creation of the sake. She was the one choosing out the ingredients and the amounts (with help, of course, cause she only had so much knowledge of the process) and even did the calligraphy on the bottle. I just find this interesting. It's funny to think about how there's gonna be some place that's offering "award-winning sake" and then it's just in a bottle with an anime girl on it. EDIT: Binny's doesn't carry it, so I'm annoyed. The name of the sake is "Daiginjo Yuki-Yo-Zuki".
Tasty fresh! Curious, is that a cellphone pic? With an app, or post processing, or? Or "a real camera" with a f1.4lens?
All made sense, until "it's just in a bottle with an anime girl on it."...just? Isn't that a thing? https://www.inverse.com/input/culture/ghost-in-the-shell-themed-sake-sounds-like-a-boozy-good-time Anime boy? https://www.otaquest.com/cells-at-work-collaboration-sake/
Getting all my gluttony out of the way before new years when I’m totally gonna start eating healthier and going to the gym
Enjoying a few (too many) Old Speckled Hens at my favorite (and, well, the only) Irish pub by me. The one time I do not "drink local" is here. They have a Bottingtons Brewery sign in the window, but Old Speckled Hen is much better. Terrific pot roast and Irish stew, loaded with parsnips and rutabaga!
