Hey . . . I used to live there . . . For almost 20 years. Five of them less than a block from the police station Among the drugs. . . I'm thinking 'roids are among his preferred options
And in Memphis. There will be civil disobedience - I mean "rioting" - in Memphis tonight. If you don't know, Tyre Nichols. And as @Auriaprottu has said for years...forever, the color of the officers is blue. As one who lived in Memphis for several years, I can attest. And this SCORPION unit sounds a lot like a SWAT team. Change the name, but the attitude stays the same.
GOD DAMNIT, GOD ********ING DAMN IT, I WILL BE DEAD AND BURIED BEFORE THESE NIQQERS LEARN THAT THEY WILL NEVER. EVER HAVE PEACE OF ANY SORT. YOUR FAMILY MEMBER'S BEEN KILLED AND YOU WANT PEACE????? NO, I WANT CITIZENS ASKING EVERY LILY-LIVERED, GUNSTURBATING COP THEY SEE WHAT THE ******** IS WRONG WITH THE MPD. WHY Y'ALL SONS OF BITCHES GOTTA KILL EVERYTHING YOU SEE? AND WHY DO YOU ADMIT BLACK MEN WHO SHARE YOUR MURDEROUS TENDENCIES? STOP PRAYING. GOD DOESN'T LOVE YOU EVEN IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT HE EXISTS. WE HAVE 400 YEARS OF PROOF OF THIS. JUST STOP. AND STOP MEETING IN CHURCH. IF YOU HAVE TO MEET WHERE WHITE FOLKS TOLD YOU IT WAS OKAY TO MEET, YOU DON'T NEED TO MEET AT ALL.
I don't need to see it. I know what happened. A Black man was murdered for no good reason. Herschel Walker on the damn force
Pretty quiet in here considering what we just saw. Guess it's Friday night so you're all out listening to yourselves talk somewhere. Seems watching all 35 Wrestlemanias one after the other is part of basic pigs training these days.
I said in the racism thread that I wasn't watching it. I don't want to witness that trauma Because I know it existent.
It's not even the training. It's Time after time they know that they'll never have to pay a price. they get to stay on the force and the city pays some type of fine. It has been bred into them that they're above the Law so they will continue to act this way
Hyping up their shite job by giving teams names like "Scorpion Unit" only feeds that belief. And nauseating that minutes after the video played live, when people's jaws are still on the floor, senior members of the Memphis Pigs Dpmt line up get on CNN to defend their organization.
This projects to go to zero per 100K, I would assume that it will never really go that low, but the trend is a good one.
At least at WrestleMania they are trying NOT to kill or hurt each other, just make it look like they are. More like the first two or three UFC events, before they implemented actual rules.
It’s sickening enough reading about it or hearing it on the news. I don’t feel the need to watch it. Some sort of animal, thoughtless, feeding fury. Half of those cops didn’t know why, they just joined in, because.
Yep. And since cell phones sometimes keep coppers in check, some entity like Anonymous should hack these street cams and see if they can mobilize the locals to call 911 or confront these murderers in the act. Some jackass cops in CT didn't tie down a black guy in the back of a van then purposely stopped short & smashed him into the partition paralyzing him. Sure they thought it was hilarious. Remember when a fascist president joked about banging suspects heads into the car roof when stuffing them? Good times.
As I'm catching up on the Slow Burn pods, I'm currently in the Rodney King beating/LA Civil Unrest season. Of course, I was still living in LA at the time, and remember watching the video on KTLA Channel 5 when it first aired. I remember being stunned at what I saw. It was not that I didn't think the police had done similar, or were capable, but utter violence of the act they were performing on another human who was clearly in distress. I will watch the video or intellectual purposes. But it will be a while as I know I will be angry for a few days after I see it.
I have only see a few short snippets of the video and have no desire to see the entire thing. The seconds of it that I have seen are especially brutal, even by the standards of these types of videos...
Exact same here. From the snippets I saw, all I could think was "Such anger...why?.....what makes a person have such hatred to another human"
Hey remember this cophttps://www.denverpost.com/2020/02/06/aurora-police-drunk-dui-investigation/ Well the conspiracy to protect him worked, he's now been promoted. https://kdvr.com/news/local/aurora-...-out-in-patrol-car-3-years-ago-gets-promoted/
Because there has been, by the police, a dehumanization of the population they police. Particularly POC.
