Grenwood & Mendy won't be on the payroll as wages get suspended in cases like this, but are still under employment at their clubs. Right now those 2 have not been found guilty of anything so terminating their contracts could end up in a costly unfair dismissal legal case if they are found to be innocent, as well as having to backdate their suspended salary.

They can allow their contracts to expire without renewal though if they want. Mendy out of contract in 5 months.

I read Greenwood has been suspended from any football activity with the club, not an employee suspension so he’ll still be getting paid if that is the case (and what I read)
