I can't remember a club having such a random shopping spree. Like what is their optimal starting lineup if everyone is healthy?
Which story is the bigger headlines in the city of Liverpool today? Liverpool losing to brighton 3-0? ot Everton?

Or it's still early in the season and there is no issue with Manchester City, they're still favourites to win the league and all this talk about them falling off or Haaland making them worst is typical premature social and mainstream media hysteria.
What I do notice is that defenders play Increasingly tough/dirty vs Håland and it's gone unnoticed. Shirt pulling pushing shoving, very excessive. At some point the guy will start flopping Uncontrollably and it won't be entirely his fault.
Questions mount over Alisher Usmanov’s links with Everton FC Sources claim five football managers held talks over top job in presence of now-sanctioned oligarch A series of football managers have raised fresh questions over the ownership of Everton FC after claiming they were interviewed for the top job in the presence of the now-sanctioned oligarch Alisher Usmanov. The multibillionaire is understood to have attended a sequence of meetings dating from current owner Farhad Moshiri’s initial acquisition of an Everton stake in 2016, until before Usmanov was sanctioned last year, when assets of “Putin associates” were frozen after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The discussions with the tycoon left the managers with the impression that Usmanov owned Everton, the sources claimed. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...t-over-alisher-usmanovs-links-with-everton-fc
Not surprising because many people have fronts and the most powerful ones use people with financial or political influence as their best ones. With that said why the outrage? They are cool with selling their historical footballing institutions to countries that do atrocities so why cut ties with Russia? Just keep the money flowing man. The English way.
Love seeing Sevilla in the relegation zone. Hopefully they go down, can’t stand them and their joke of a manager.
The same Liverpudlian Yob stock that cries about Middlesboro and the CL final from last year. You can take the rat out of the tenement but you can’t take the tenement out of the rat.
Too bad we don’t have Buy-Claus. Could be nice replacement for Kroos while Bellingham instead of Modric
Odegaard gonna lead Arsenal to PL title as captain? Definitely didn't see this coming when we sold him in 2021.
We sent Odegaard on a zillion loans. No wonder he had no emotional attachment towards RM. He was scrutinized so much as a 16 year old at Castilla.
📊| Atleti have won only 2 of their last 8 La Liga games & 12 in their last 26.— Atletico Universe (@atletiuniverse) January 15, 2023 Guess Cholo will leave at the end of the season. Luis Enrique seems like an attainable coach for Atlético. Tuchel won't be interested.
Didn't he actually request for those? What are we supposed to do? We let him pick where he wanted to go. We brought him back. After starting out the season he had injury issues and then came to a decision that he wasn't going to play as much as he wanted behind Modric and Kroos and asked to leave. Can't win them all.
Yea I don’t think we mishandled this one. only thing I’ll say is we should always include buy back clauses when selling talented young players
He was a special talent. We should have kept him at the club when he turned 18 like Vini and Rodrygo. Kovacic had left in 2018. But Spanish media already created a narrative that Odegaard was a Castilla bust. Second mistake was bringing him back early from Real Sociedad loan. He did start couple of games which we lost like Shakthar away and had a small injury. And when he returned, fat Isco was playing ahead of him vs Osasuna. He asked for Arsenal loan move soon after. We have paid a price for carrying dead weights like Isco. Thankfully Hazard could only ruin Vini's momentum half the time and get a starting spot right away because he was out injured for the other half. Only getting Bellingham would rectify losing a creative genius like Odegaard.
