Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

Yeah. If it was MOR v ARG there would be no probs trying to upgrade tickets but since FRA fans don't travel, it could be risky trying to offload a crappy 700+ ticket for $1600. ARG travelling fans were noticeably reduced for SF. I am solo and won't be risking it.

 

Just to understand further, so anyone who buys TST tickets would be entitled to the Finals? Even if your team is eliminated?

 

The final is that one game … everyone on the planet wants to be at. Regardless of their like of soccer or not. It’s the trendy place to be. To assume demand is the same as as semi is a bit of stretch. I have people in La offering me money for my ticket . They’ll fly out here jsut for the final .

 

Here’s what DECC said to me… “she can’t sit alone, she’s a minor” they told me to get to the stadium early and they will sit us together. They have a few spots reserved for this type of scenario. (I witnessed it myself at the Arg-Mex match).

however, I will not take an above 100 seat for the cat 1. I will not give up my 137 seat. So we’ll see what happens. I may just sell it back on the spot

 

The world is small (even the big soccer one) - I will also be sitting in block 525, row S

Going to be my last game (I think I had 18 who remembers?) Sunday back.

 

My TST7 is on 712 row U. Just slightly better than the semi at Lusail. It’s my first WC final so I’m not going to complain, especially with Argentina in the final.

I know that FIFA is selling souvenir tickets, but since I promised before the WC kicked off to contribute to this community, if anyone wants digital "physical" tickets (probably like 95% accurate) for free, please PM me and I'll send you a form you can fill out to get your seat info to make the tickets for you. (NOTE: I won't be sending any out until after the final match on 18 DEC to prevent my work from being used for scams or what not)

I’ve been here since match 1. I’m done with the speculation. Buyers and sellers speculate. I’ve made arrangements with people at face value and they flake and don’t show etc, im done. If they can’t sit us together at 100 level; catch my TST on the resale platform . Selling to folk is exhausting… and guess what? These a-holes expect to fly to Doha and benefit from your hundreds of hours of effort FREE! They demand face value tickets.., I’ll burn it before that . (Unless it’s a long standing BS member) I’ve sold and given below face value to some here.

I think anybody who expects large drops will be disappointed. As all Marocco tickets could go to friends, all final tickets will do the same as even more neutral friends are interested in that.

 

I really agree with your statement. Since Russia 2018, I have sold Poland Senegal, Belgium Tunisia, Brazil Costa Rica, Argentina Nigeria, and in the 2022 World Cup, M50 Argentina Australia, M61 semifinals Argentina Croatia, all face value. But when I only needed one ticket for M62 France Morocco, no one DMed me. It's better to sell to old BS members or those who often help than to new members who will take advantage of our efforts that spend thousands of hours buying tickets

 

I think I will message you for the tickets I had in my alternate accounts with made up address details as I can’t order them from FIFA directly.

Because I don’t think that one McD store in Doha would understand why it’s suddenly getting Souvenir tickets xD

 

I bet they will allow you to modify the address prior to ordering the souvenir tickets. They 100% know people used multiple accounts to buy tickets (they had Stadium to Stadium busses, not to mention the cookies they put in the app when you log in and out of the different accounts). They don’t care.

 

Think you might be right. The allocations saved for Croatia and Morocco should have been freed up at the very least. Maybe final tickets being used to build good will. Plus I'm sure lots of favors to be doled out from the decision to grant the WC to Qatar.

That said, drops have more or less tended to be 2 days before. If there's no drop tomorrow night, yes, that would obviously be it. That would be sad.
