Sorry if already posted but I wonder if the tickets for those who's flights were cancelled will go back in resale or just be empty seats Morocco’s national airline said it was canceling all flights it had scheduled for Wednesday to carry fans to Doha for the World Cup semi-final, citing what it said was a decision by Qatari authorities. “Following the latest restrictions imposed by the Qatari authorities, Royal Air Maroc regrets to inform customers of the cancellation of their flights operated by Qatar Airways,” the airline said in an emailed statement. Royal Air Maroc had previously said it would lay on 30 additional flights to help fans get to Qatar for Wednesday night’s semi-final game against France but on Tuesday a source at a RAM travel agency said only 14 flights had been scheduled. The cancellation of Wednesday’s seven scheduled flights means RAM was only able to fly the seven flights on Tuesday, leaving fans who had already booked match tickets or hotel rooms unable to travel. RAM said it would reimburse air tickets and apologized to customers.
Are talking about m62? They never checked names, it would be weird for them to start now. It might have been a new security guard haha
maybe he was the first spectator to enter the gate and there was nobody else in the queue. in my case, they just checked the number of dots in the app screen to match the number of people in my group. Of course, had to scan each ticket for the final entry.
What’s the best way to get to Al Bayt from souq waqif? Metro and bus from lusail or just a bus from souq?
I took uber from souk 88r, and he dropped me at parking lot, walk to gate was like 5 minutes. Anybody with the car at al bayt can take me after game to souk for 100r?
Didn’t happy to me . My ticket says Mickey Mouse, I got in Ok. Just go to another gate … some security jerk is flexing his 60 minutes of power .
Early bird but at my second semi final and my 22nd game overall. TST7 Cat 2 yielded me a great seat for this one.
Each person would have to post his ticket on the resell platform. FIFA would not batch cancel tickets.
I have a 330am international flight out of Doha. Hope to be at airport by 200-215am. Should I leave Al Bayt by 1am latest by Uber? Thoughts?
How to avoid the shitshow of crowds around security? Show up 90 mins before the match. Nice and easy security process, and got my match coke cup.
