Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

Official spectator count claimed it was a full house of 88k people… there were plenty of empty seats in the upper part….

Anyway atmosphere was ok but I was expecting much more, I found the fixed seats pretty old school, it is difficult to move around. Hospitality food for match club was pretty awful but the drinks created a good vibe not to be seen anywhere. The best part is being able to use it after the game.
I took advantage of one of those illegal taxi driver outside the stadium perimeter and that was a good idea to shorten the come back.
Hopefully tomorrow it is gonna be even better

 

Yeah it looked like sections 509-511 & 606-608 were almost completely empty.
I should have done the taxi....the metro was rough.

yeah you too? how did you like the food, i thought it was terrible…just wait till they kick you out from hospitality after the game then take a taxi, by that time most of the crowd is gone already.

 

Does anyone know if a ticket application # for games that already passed can be used Hayya Card?

 

my friend, I bought my flights for the finals 2 days ago, 15hs direct flight, arriving at noon on Sunday, then before midnight I have my return flight (hopefully I will make it) which is 18hs total(connection in Madrid), in other words, I will be over 30hs on a plane (back and forth) just to be for the finals

My only issue is that I need to get 3 tickets for the finals , and maybe an extra for my brother (if find a return flight for him)

 

You can't, I tried for my brother which he may come if I find a return flight (will be a surprise for him). You need to find someone with a ticket number for M62/63/64.

Just got accomodation refund, looks like Fifa is paying everything out these days

 

Two of us have Hayya, the other two is the issue. Does anyone know how long is taking now to process a Hayya?

 

It should be quick, which part they got stuck? accommodation? because even if you do it with FIFA, I always suggest to use the "third party" accommodation and upload the confirmation there.

 

I hope I can get it on Thursday, let see, if Morocco beat France, it will be hard to get tickets, because so far zero FCFS tickets for M62, but I still believe they should release some on the Resale portal today after 10am (Doha time) and a couple of hrs before the match on FCFS portal.

 

The exact same thing happened in Russia after Brazil lost to Belgium. That time prices went below FV.

 

It takes 24 hours max, if you have ticket and accommodation, and of course - clean criminal record.

It was sold by someone outside the stadium. It was not official. My friend bought it for QR 50

Empty seats yesterday might be explained by this:
I offered my ticket to the resale platform in the morning. Didn't get sold, but also couldn't see it in my account. Around 20:30(so during the match) i got an email saying: Argentina vs Croatia | الأرجنتين - كرواتيا - Your mobile tickets are ready!

WTF.. the ticket got stuck somewhere, pretty sure. Because all tickets offered in the morning were gone in seconds.

 

I just looked it up before reading your message while I am inside the portal waiting for any possible drop. The option to add (invite a friend) was removed. It's no longer there. Two of us have Hayya's since we just returned from Doha. I need a ticket application to get my other 2 friends book them an $84 one-night cluster and apply for Hayya.

 

15 morroco tickets dropped. Couldn't cart any

 

I was also due for a refund but the credit card i bought the tickets with was cancelled long ago.

I logged onto the ticketing portal today and immediately after getting in there it says i need to update my account details. It was requesteing my bank details. I assume this was becasue the refund attempt to the credit card failed. I will let you know if/when i get my money back.

 

I think that is the new feature (I am not a Robot) they came up with and also now you can list your bank details, I do not think it was because they could not process your refund.

 

Atmosphere was also dull for France Belgium SF in 2018 as well as the final. More casual fans in SF and final.
