Not to be a contrarian but saying he was killed by another country because of a shirt is just as dangerous. Calero, DeNigris, Chucho Benitez all tragically left early and suddenly, too. Dying suddenly isn’t an anomaly, when the time arrives we are impotent to its presence. I wasn’t familiar with his writing but damn, RIP

Ordinarily I would agree with this sentiment but there was already too much smoke regarding this World Cup for no fire to be found. I was expecting something like this to happen, frankly. To your point, we may never know. Hopefully a separate autopsy can be performed sooner than later... I'm not holding my breath.
I've seen reports of journalist arrests in Qatar and reports that Qatari government has assisted Iran in tracking and silencing Iranian dissidents... I'll give the benefit of the doubt when it's merited. Too many other things going on for that here though...

Awful news about Grant Wahl. Guy seemed like a good dude that genuinely loved the game. Not going to jump into any conspiracies, but he did indeed go over there and pushed some buttons on sensitive items. He saw that as part of his job which I respect. Another reminder that today is all we have mi gente.
