I tend to agree. Makes me wonder how much input the Crew FO has into who their eMLS player is or if they're just assigned one by the league. Might be something for a Fan Council to look into.
I'm fairly certain team has no say and honestly probably could care less. But MLS needs to do it more like hockey and have local competitions followed regional/national/international. Wherever you live you represent the closest club.
eMLS should require the participants to be a member of the fanbase and must use the team. Do whatever tactics you like, but you must win as the Crew. No FUT stuff.
Hell yes! I can't say I've watched a moment of this stuff, but if they were playing as the actual Crew I may tune in for a minute or so.
And now they'll all have a stadium to compete in. https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-ne...uild-professional-esports-stadium-in-columbus I still don't understand the appeal of watching people competitively play video games, but it's a thing, so... *shrugs*
I saw it on ESPN+ last night. I couldn't even figure out what game they were playing so only lasted 20 seconds watching it.
