I was watching (and hearing) the same.

And what a finish by Ramos.

I said "major" competition, not "Major League Soccer" competition! ;)
However, great find. That was pretty pathetic, since they scored 3 goals during the game could not convert a single penalty.
At least Spain can claim they sucked at shooting the entire game. 77% of the possession, 13 shots overall, ONE shot on target.

Por v Mor should stylistically be fun to watch.

Another Swiss goal orchestrated by Shaqiri.

Still needs to orchestrate 4 more to tie the game up.

The fact they put Ronaldo in shows how much a prima donna he is. Divemaster supreme.

"Orchestrated" seems a bit generous...he took a corner and Portugal's defender head flicked it on (instead of clear) to the Swiss fullback standing alone at the back post.

It was too high for the defender to redirect it with any intent. It basically skimmed off of his head. Regardless, Shaqiri was involved in all of Switzerland’s goals at the World Cup.

If only he "ran more," Switzerland would have scored 7 and won the match. [emoji6]

I conclude Ezra is not as good a coach as the Japan head coach.

No team in the group stage ran more than the United States.

All jokes aside it really was reported as such. Australia in second. Mexico third LEAST of all teams. I believe for the US it was 122km per game, all players combined unless I misunderstood the stat. Regardless, we topped the list.

    Bottom 1 & 2 we’re not Switzerland. I can’t remember who they were though.

Japan has a legitimate chance in 2026. We were talking about that before the tournament on Sad Bois.

When in doubt, root for the underdog. Go Croatia. Not that I had any doubts about who I was rooting for…

    0-0 after 90.

  22. Neymar showing why he's rated. He took the contact, made a touch around the keeper, and had the presence of mind to roof it over the sliding defender. Probably a career defining play. I could see Brazil adding a couple more than Croatia coming back.
