Match report from last week's (14 Nov) U21 match vs RWDM. He started and played the first 65' of a 3-0 loss. The U21 play tomorrow. Maybe Nyeman will get another start and some more playing time. Hopefully he plays well.

@irondeepbicycle great catch. Beveren is playing well right now and pushing for promotion. He has not forced his way onto the field yet. A move to RSL to get more playing time would be a positive thing.
Although he does not appear of the official RSL pre-season roster, but some RSL fans are hoping that he just left the US too early, and could never push himself into the starting lineup. They are hoping that he will be a good investment.
MLS Extra time review mentioned on Tuesday's podcast that he is a non-Roster invitee to the RSL pre-season camp.

If Nyeman impresses he can find minutes here.
Always thought of Nyeman as an 8 or playmaking 6 if you don’t need a ton of defending out of him. Not sure about a 10. the man can hit a long pass though.
As of right now, he is not on the RSL depth chart. But I am not sure if a non-roster invitee would be on the chart.
As of 6 February, Nyman was still listed on the RSL preseason roster. I would imagine his Belgian foray is over.
RSL whittled down all of the preseason invitees to just two, and Nyeman was one of them. I still think an RSL contract is the likely move.
Looks like Nyeman won a spot in preseason. Coaching staff was full of praise for him, though Mastroeni is often a brick wall at the end of RSL's development ladder. The American club also negotiated a purchase.
The loan was a very successful one for Nyeman. He was the most valuable player for the Real Monarchs (Next Pro). He is now officially back with Beveren, but RSL seems to want him back. It will be interesting to see what happens with him. He did not make the bench for this past weekends return to play for the Challenger Pro League. It is possible that he is not even back in Belgium. It appears that he did not travel with the team to their training camp in Spain. so who knows where he is and with whom he is training. But he is technically a YA again.
