I don’t blame him either. But I would put him high on the list of least skilled DC United players ever - adjusted for the eta of the league in which they played.

so far the FO has done very little to instill confidence for next season. I mean did you guys see that Jamaica video about the cancer that Ravel “the bust” Morrison is. It’s looking like dog for next year, so I’m trying to find the silver lining. ‍♂️

How many more internationals can we have? I've lost count of which internationals have gone and which have come.

I'm certain there's a Dr. Evil crack about one million bubbling up in this.

While it is great to have a world market to secure players, this isn't how people win MLS. You need top quality in key positions surrounded by good solid journeymen and good team chemistry. It is a long and mostly pointless season with the low bar of making the playoffs, where you need to be on top form to make it to the Cup final.

A coach like Losada, who seemed to think every match was MLS Cup final, is going to burn out the team before August.

We need someone that can actually evaluate the importance of each match and figure out where we can get points and where it doesn't matter in order to get our 40ish points from 34 matches to make the playoffs. Then get the team firing on all cylinders in September and October to be a force in the actual season that matters.

Silver lining? Well Rooney is only under contract for this next season so whatever changes he makes in this off season are only going to be relevant for 2023 and then we will have a new manager...

That may be true. But it wasn't last season.

It has been the recipe for many of the past winners, dating all the way back to our wins. It isn't a guarantee and some teams have better success at playing with the rules to get more internationals than others and get around the salary cap. Overall, it seems to be a good strategy for MLS success.
