If STL gets 1, we'll probably get the 2 or 3 pick.

Less than 24 hours and we see who's no longer on this team.

We need help at Forward and Defense, that being said if Nathan Opoku(F) or Ilijah Paul(F) fall to the #4 slot we should grab them.

I'll probably try to guess who we try and draft this year. Somehow got Bouda and Agren right last year so I am assuming that there is a GA player from the Bay we will pick them. I do not really see any positions where we just have to pick from so we should just go with the most upside player on the board that has some kind of really good physical attributes whether that is height/speed/strength/etc because those players have the easiest time adjusting to MLS.

We finished with the 3rd worst record. Wouldn’t we go 4th?

I thought the draft was an anachronism?

Quakes pick the best Stanford guy available anyway. :)

Leitch has a proven track record of signing a senior college homegrown player just prior to the draft (see Nick Lima and Will Richmond). Will he do that again this year? Who are the candidates?

There are only 3 I can see which are seniors Fahmi Ibrahim, Cam Cilley, and Keegan Tingey (assuming we only go for guys that are seniors). But I think we will only sign 1 maybe 2 from these guys. My money would be on the Stanford boys since both of them have started all of the games this season for the #6 program. Would I want us to get someone from the youth teams as well tho? Absolutely (If we get a Chance if you know what I mean)

It's another arrow in the quiver. If it's the only spigot for new players, that is very sad, but I think and hope that Leitch is at least more savvy than that!

We need to draft this guy Eythor Bjorgolffson just so some people here can get really anal retentive when people mispronounce and misspell this guys name.
