I am going to miss Arsenal-Juventus tonight, because I'll be out with friends.

I anyway hope Juventus manage to get at least a draw: as I said before, in my opinion it could be enough to advance from the group (of course at OL's expense).

I liked Boattin and Grosso for Juve, the game was ok. Super cold by 0 C. Arsenal a bit better overall, Juve had an early chance that would have totally changed the game. Not a classic by any means, but good entertainment.

Missed the game, but watched highlights.

Not at unexpected result at all and, as I mentioned before, it still leaves everything open for Juventus. It won't be easy for OL to make points in London and, even should they come back home with a draw, Juventus could still try to get a draw too in Lyon and advance on goal difference (of course assuming Juventus beat Zürich).

Roma lose to Wolfsburg by 4-2 an they have to hope that, tonight, St. Pölten don't win thus re-opening the group for what concerns advancing.

Bad round for Italy, this week.

I would have agreed earlier on about Juventus’ chances of finishing 2nd in the group, but surprisingly things have changed.

Problem now for Juventus is they will now be playing a different Lyon team than they previously played. In their first 10 games this season they struggled offensively and defensively, scoring 19 goals while giving up 10 goals. Now they are doing far better at finishing on their scoring opportunities plus seeing an improved defense. In the last 4 games, they scored 18 goals while giving up 2 goals.

Part of the success may be attributed to getting back some of their injured players, but some may well be that the giving of more time to some of the younger players is now starting to pay off.

Barcelona will go through on Matchday 5 if they avoid defeat by Benfica. Barcelona will be confirmed in first place if they win and Bayern lose.

Bayern will go through on Matchday 5 if they beat Rosengård and Benfica do not win, or if Bayern draw and Benfica lose.

Benfica will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose to Barcelona and Bayern avoid defeat, or if Benfica draw and Bayern win.

Rosengård are unable to finish in the top two.

I came back home at 19:15 and I was afraid I would have missed most of 1st Half: it turns out I didn't! :)

Juventus up by 2-0 towards the end of 1st Half.

The 2nd goal was scored by Lineth Beeresteyn with a smart back-heel from CK action, but @Lohmann says she's not a so big factor in Champions' League. :whistling:

She was also involved in the first and third goal but Zürich is not the benchmark. If she is involved in three goals in Lyon I will apology.o_O:cautious::unsure:
