hahahaha. Nope. Think he can be a very effective player for us. Just don't think he's going to be an all-world type player.

But those are completely different types of players? Unless it means he is on par with all of them put together in which case we should sign him!
rumours that we are interested in Morocco's Sofyan Amrabat. I've read very good things about him but haven't watched him. he was very good yesterday vs Spain apparently - hard-running midfielder with a great engine. anyone seen him play much?
No - but in the 120th minute he was moving as quickly as he was in the 1st minutes - which is to say he was playing quite well and seems to have unlimited energy. Reminds me of Gini.

Liverpool will finally move for Ismaila Sarr this summer as the player will only have 12 months remaining on his contract. Liverpool are pushing to sign Fiorentina and Morocco star Sofyan Amrabat in January as the Reds look to strengthen their midfield for the second half of the campaign. While he's looked good at the WC, I don't pay enough attention to italian football to know just how good he is. Are his stats comparable to others we've been linked (interceptions, forward passes, pressing, etc) with in the past? Or is he a warm, fit body that can fill in during our crisis? Liverpool are leading the chase to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund as the player’s family prefer Anfield as a destination, it has been claimed in Germany.
Marcus Bring on Twitter: "Sofyan Amrabat was one of the best players on the pitch for Morocco today and he did what he always does best, by being secure *and* progressive in possession. A rare trait. https://t.co/OvkIVScyON" / Twitter
German journalist Christian Falk: “You heard the news today, you will have heard that Bellingham and Liverpool are very, very close. There have been many, many talks. His father Mark, mother Denise and agent Mark Bennett are really focused on Liverpool."
Conversely, I look at Gary Neville being one of the biggest frauds on the planet, an epic hypocrite, and one terrible announcer and I think "you absolute piece of shit." - Newterp, on Gary Neville via BigSoccer Boards
the Jude rumours are going into overdrive. wish we had games going on to deflect some attention from it.

Chelsea are looking to rival Arsenal and Liverpool in the race to sign Villarreal youngster Alex Baena.
The ace in the hole in this might be Klopp...... I saw an interview with someone talking about how Bellingham was as a 16 yr old at Birmingham, and how he talked after a great game performance of how his learning trajectory was, as he saw it in his own mind. Anyone that focused on becoming as good a player and learning as much as possible would surely be drawn to play for Klopp while still young. This idea would undoubtedly have been re-inforced by being at Dortmund this past couple of years.
His talent has been wasted at MU by a succession of Neanderthal coaches. But that's way too much for him, IMO.
