Am I alone in thinking that the exact kickoff time of Spain-Morocco was an odd time for the press conference. Maybe hold it between WC games?
Hey Chris. Looks like you may have made the first mention in this thread of the current head coach of our Columbus Crew.
I came from work and wasn't planning on being in front of any cameras. I keep a bar scarf in my truck for random events, but though to myself "nah, I won't need that, this is just a press conference."
Minions like me look to you for emotional support and leadership. Given the responsibility of your position, I assumed you wore Crew gear every day to work.
Dang. It's disappointing, that at my advanced station, I still have days when it is brought to my attention that I have been doing something stupid my entire life.
We all have our own preferences and opinions about when and where it's expected and acceptable to wear the merch. I usually only wear Crew gear to the office on pre-match Fridays. I generally don't wear Crew gear to meetings with the FO or Nordecke meetings/events. I've never been one to sport sports gear casually around town*, it's just not my style. But that's just me and I don't begrudge anyone who wears sports gear every day, that's fine. Kind of like the fact that I'll never buy a jersey with an active player's name on the back. But I keep a Crew scarf in my truck because I know Crew fans and I know that I'll get dragged if I'm ever called to be at a thing on a Tuesday morning and I show up looking like I just dressed for the office instead of a pep rally. And, on Tuesday, I was hoping to fly under the radar. Mission fail. *except for a hat - I wear my Crew hats a lot.
One thing I noticed in most of the pics they were posting on social media...lack of people wearing the gawd awful new logo. Picture above is exhibit A. If the folks in front office don't take notice of that and continue to be pig headed about it, then they are idiots.
Just deleted an email from the club about this. Is this where we are now? The Crew will start emailing me to get me to spend $$ on their sponsors?
