I think Flick might be right in saying that is not the main reason.

Yesterday I read that Morocco allowing the families to stay in camp was a reason why they're doing so well!

    Otavio:

“You know the first thing Cristiano Ronaldo did when he found out he wouldn’t start? He went to speak to Gonçalo Ramos and the rest of the team to encourage them. He is our leader.”

“Everything around Ronaldo is negative according to the media. They create many fake stories. Ronaldo is an example, he is our captain, from the locker room he supported the team, even when he knew he wasn’t going to play.”

Ronaldo is the most misunderstood player ever. Media try to paint him bad but he’s actually the realest sportsman and wishes everyone well.

Croatia bossing this game at the moment, they just don't have anyone up front to really be clinical or create chances. Brazil are so overrated. They'll probably go on to win this but a team with more attacking power could really punish them

Another extra time match for Croatia. The kings of going to extra time.

Thought Neymar was somewhat lucky to be on the pitch. Looked like he deliberately kicked a Croatian player after ball had gone, which is violent conduct surely?

Which wasn’t mentioned by the commentators at all.

Big respect for Croatia! They're a great side, except when England record a straight forward victory over them in a major tournament. Then they're shite of course.

Lol, bye Brazil. Overhyped once again, the self entitlement is crazy. Will be glad to stop hearing the Brazil lovefest now. Just Argentina next

Chelsea are after him but I don’t think they will get him. An even bigger club will.

Biggest World Cup knock out shock ever?

Do you think Neymar was saving himself for a potential winning penalty?

Holly crap! I turned off when Brazil took the lead, didn’t think Croatia would get that equaliser, lol. I bet the BBC are going into meltdown now! Well done Croatia, fantastic result. This really opens up the competition and I’m not convinced about Argentina so I think we’re looking at a European champion yet again.

Does that mean whoever wins out of us or France will become the bookies favourite ahead of the winner of Netherlands v Argentina and if Portugal get through.

According to the BBC the Brazil squad and fans are in stunned disbelief in the stadium. Maybe they should've paid more respect to the finalists in 2018 and a squad that has players that playing in Europe's big leagues throughout.

Will come down to either him setting his sight on one particular move, or who has the biggest chequebook.

Not sure it's a massive shock. Croatia are a very good team, and Brazil are a solid backline with a load of individuals up top.
I'd certainly put Korea beating Italy and Spain in 2002 ahead, and probably the 1954 final just from memory.

Croatia are a good team, this is nowhere near a massive shock. Unexpected yes, but not a massive shock
