Why can’t the Quarter finals start already :(.

I hate non World Cup days… just builds up the anxiety. I don’t expect us to win, but it’s just the wait. :(

Just to add to that as well as being a great option to assist in calmly seeing out games when we are leading; he is also a brilliant option to give us back momentum if we’re losing or drawing (against Germany in the Euros and away against them in the Nations League.)

No iam not......why come to that conclusion? Because I rate some players from other teams and not being a die hard fan from another?

Mixed feelings about this game. I get the same vibe from casual fans who only watch England in big games that I got before Germany Euro 96, Netherlands Nations League 19 and Italy Euro final. They’re unusually bullish but it’s false because you sense that they can’t wait to turn on the players and manager.

England are improving all the time though. We’re more tournament savvy than ever, better in possession than ever and more talented than ever.

I’d put the odds at 55/45 in France’s favour but Rice, Henderson and Bellingham have that dog in them and will be up for it.

Unless someone breaks through in the next 18 months the Euro’s squad (if we qualify) could be the first without a teenager since 2010. First euros since 1992.

What have I said that triggers u ? I would take our attacking options off the bench. That's my opinion. We have a wider variety of attackers right now

The hate we get from other countries is perplexing. Even our own English fans or people hate on us. Simon Jordan another anti England nobber. It's kind of sad and also soul destroying to see the vile attitude towards us from opposition fans

Yep .. Saka should start on the right given his confidence plus they are without their first choice left back

It’s a shame he went to City really as he’s not allowed to play his normal game .

Pep instructs him to stay near the touch line , hold the play up and attract players to him with the sole purpose of making space for his teammates…

Lucas Hernandez was their first choice until he did his ACL in the opening match.

Interesting hearing Shaw talk about how annoying the team leaks are.. somebody from inside must be leaking. However I haven't really noticed it since the first couple of games this time around

The first two matches were very organised leaks as all the media had them at one and didn’t credit each other by saying reports are. Since then the leaks have been more to individual journalists and not always accurate.

Nope he was the left back for that match. He played as a left back in 2018 as well.

Upamecano and Varane has been their first choice central defence, with Konate deputising.
