yes via RNRC who provides state guarantees to insurance firms such as Ingosstrakh, which insures their tankers https://www.reuters.com/business/en...russian-oil-shipments-sources-say-2022-06-10/ Western insurers withdrew cover from state-run Sovcomflot (SCF) when Russia's biggest shipping group was hit by sanctions, but Western insurance sources said the Russian replacement cover would likely be enough to keep Russian vessels sailing.
I found an image that shows Russia's western oil export terminals (aside from one up in Murmansk). I believe there is also one on the Russian east coast, but I don't believe that one really matters as there aren't any pipelines that run from the oil fields that feed Europe that go to that terminal and, if there are pipelines that do it, those pipelines are not large enough to support the Asia's demand. So, looking at that map, it really appears there are only 3 oil export terminals Russia will be able to use since Turkey isn't allowing oil tankers through that aren't insured by western insurers. Also, with winter coming up, we can pretty much scratch out the terminal in Murmansk as that should freeze over. Even the two around St. Petersburg is going to suck. Long story.. Russia oil exports are going to take a hit if they aren't willing to comply with the $60 price cap.
It would appear that insurance from Ingosstrakh is sufficient for Turkey https://www.reuters.com/business/en...russian-insurance-letter-document-2022-12-06/
Problem solved then. Still doesn't mean Russia has the ability to offset the lost exports from the European pipelines.
Russia has the advantage of having no reporting of any pipe leaks except for that minor sabotage a while back.
Crime Scene: Bucha now on PBS. Russkies as ruthless as was reported. This doc has the gory details & CCTV videos. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/documentary/crime-scene-bucha/
I saw something a few days ago asking (Are the British to Blame for Bucha). I didn't read it because I see enough stuff from tankies but the timing was curious to me. Now with this coming out it makes a bit more sense.
There's more to the world than what's "around you", that's what make "the world - not just your own bubble" interesting. Exploring different point of views doesn't mean that you "agree" with what's going on. No I don't agree with the war in Ukraine but I don't have to take everything Trudeau or the CBC is telling us at face value either on this side of the border. sure?
Easiest call in decades. I’d better suggest a Ukrainian soldier as the real person of the year 2022 pic.twitter.com/AR7lYjPEFX— Illia Ponomarenko 🇺🇦 (@IAPonomarenko) December 7, 2022 Don’t colonists, by definition, leave their bubbles?
By bursting into other people's bubbles and loudly proclaiming that they are the correct ones, the other people already in the bubble are wrong, and if the people already in that bubble don't conform to their opinions, they will be "removed" from the bubble.
Speaking of which, I've often wondered why Team Trump believed Ukraine had dirt on Joe Biden. What was Rudy doing in the Ukraine all the time? With yesterday's indictment of Derkach, I think we pretty much know the answer to that now. Rudy was tangled up in a RIS intelligence op which resulted in the Ukraine impeachment, and the laptop fiasco I also think the MAGAe are drinking their own bathwater and need to spend more time in vegan cafes in San Francisco to get out of their bubble. IMO they actually believe the Joe Biden dirt must be there, because that is the corruption they are familiar with. The likes of Musk also believe it, because he is a red pilled elite, who only talks to the sycophant libertarian bros who surround him, With GOP taking over the house, we will now see these conspiracies whipped up in a way that effects the war. Weeks before the laptop story, the US Treasury Department imposed financial sanctions on Derkach—the son of a former KGB official—and dubbed him “an active Russian agent for over a decade.” It was the Trump administration that declared Derkach was one of a group of “Russia-linked election interference actors.” The Treasury said he had maintained “close connections with the Russian Intelligence Services” and had “directly or indirectly engaged in, sponsored, concealed, or otherwise been complicit in foreign interference in an attempt to undermine the upcoming 2020 US presidential election.” Steve Mnuchin, Trump’s own Treasury secretary, proclaimed, “Derkach and other Russian agents employ manipulation and deceit to attempt to influence elections in the United States and elsewhere around the world.” Previously, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence had told Congress that Derkach was “spreading claims about corruption” as part of the Kremlin’s effort to undermine Biden’s campaign. Here was yet another Russian attack on a US election, and Giuliani was in league with one of its perps. This was all public information when the laptop story broke. And, as the New York Post reported, Giuliani had a starring role in this caper, for he was the source who had shared the laptop with the New York Post. Of course, this rendered the whole thing suspect. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/12/what-musk-and-co-want-you-to-forget-about-twitterfiles/

I know an arms dealer who finna* fall out the fourth floor window. Accidentally. *Is my use of finna appropriate in this situation?
I'm glad the exchange happened, though I feel for Whelan and his family. It's definitely not an exchange of equals or anywhere near that, but this is the same Putin bullying the West and I'm sure Biden felt all kinds of pressure to make it happen.
Now I'm confused! Who was right...George or Bubble Boy? A timely answer would be appreciated as the Moops are playing Portugal tomorrow!
