Your pick to go on a deep run. At least you got Morocco right.

    Nope.

Deep run means quarterfinals and beyond.

I had Serbia exiting in the Round of 16.

The only message in this world cup is: "Dont get overconfindent". One good (or great) game doesnt mean anything. Each match is their own universe. Certain teams thought they were world champions after winning 7 a 0 and look what happened. You gotta play (and win) every game.

Morocco will have to respect this performance. Ronaldo-less they look better!

Portugal were so average for the longest time, I could never take them seriously. It took a while for them to have a decent 9 too. They kept using people like Helder Postiga and Hugo Almeida

will probably be the end for Morocco since Portugal actually look eager to attack unlike Spain. But who knows we'll see

We'll see if Aguerd and Saiss play, but Morocco has to be respected for the best defence of the tournament.

Also history teaches us most teams have one free scoring game per tournament.

Portugal is a great team, but honestly the Swiss aren't that great. Decent, but nothing more. The overachieving had to end at some point.

this is what im thinking too that's why I'm also not taking Portugal as seriously as the other contenders. I'd like to see them against a properly decent team, no offense to Morocco but they aren't it either. So I guess in the semi's maybe if they make it

    And Ricardo Quaresma.
And Sergo Conceicao. Who had this one hat trick against Germany at EC 2000. And nothing before that, and nothing since.

Ronaldo must be fuming that Portugal are playing so well without him!

yeah I was thinking Quaresma but I never really thought of him as a 9 and I actually thought he was kinda decent at certain points in his career.

There was Pauleta too, PSG legend

Both Switzerland and Mexico have overachieved to even get that success.

Agreed they are decent, but Portugal made them look poor.

Portugal's early goal certainly frustrated the Swiss plan. After that they got demolished.

I'ts always good for football when teams like these go out soon.

Spotted the jealous Argentina fan. I'd be scared too if I almost blew a lead against Australia.

Portugal never acted like they were world champions. They were playing North Korea FFS. This is the 15th ranked team we dismantled today. Bow down, son.

One of the best teams is Portugal. The ball flow, nice relations, hieararchy, coaching authority, control, no pointless drama, team chemistry...:D
