Well, we are not gonna develop a 16 year old. He will be with Palmieras until 18 and will play next 1.5 years in Brazilian top division. As for Mbappe, he can't leave PSG before 2024 anyways and doesn't want to play as No.9.

Sad reality is that the club has to take these sorts of crazy risks (60m on a 16yo!?).

    In Juni I trust.

Hope the kid pans out. Or we're f*ck3d in the longterm. I believe Madrid as a club should always have a world top 3 striker AT ALL TIMES.

Is there another world class No.9 under the age of 25 apart from Haaland right now? Such a dearth of quality No.9s. Tuchel's downfall at Chelsea was mainly due to not having a reliable scorer. You can only go so far with Havertz as false 9.

Coming to Endrick, I feel he's a Vini level elite talent. Vini also reached current level due to his work ethic to get the best out of his talent. Pato, Robinho, Adriano etc fell off fast due to casual approach.

But even then, it was the elite talent that kept them relevant in Europe for 2-3 years while they didn't take care of their body at all. If Endrick continues to work hard as he has done so far, sky is the limit.

Endrick scored above 200 goals in less games. Vini is far from that in the youth teams of Flamengo.
In the 1st team of flamengo Vini scored 11 goals in 50 games, while Endrick in his first 7 games scored allready 3 goals and he didn’t played much.

With that pricetag, Bellingham is definitely going to City. They spent 130 ME on Grealish so 150 ME for Bellingham is no big deal.

Yeah that’s what going to happen with most special talents here on now. We can’t compete with other clubs in terms of wages/transfer fees (even though I’ve no idea where the money spared for mbappe went) so unless a player himself is absolutely convinced and willing to play for us, we’ll have to keep working with Mariano as backup striker.

Jovic is off, Mariano is off this summer. Iker Bravo as back up maybe? Though that doesn't sound as hopeless as Mariano for some. [emoji23] Not to mention Rodrygo doesn't even get to start when Vini, Benz and Fede are available.

Are you implying our team is perfect XI you could have right now and requires no quality reinforcements?

Quality reinforcements are always welcome. Just don't sign above average joes for the sake of it. They always end up flopping at a club like RM. Rather look at academy or cheap short term options if we want squad players rather than spend big on above average talent.

As for Bellingham, he's an elite talent. But 150 ME is ridiculous which only oil clubs will pay.

Hard to judge players looking at such stats at youth level. Vini is not even a striker. Portillo broke Raul's record at youth level. Endrick passes the eye test just like Vini did. Both has that explosiveness coupled with skills and Endrick has a terrific shot already as well.

It’s a transfer market, not transfer fixed price. Spending 60m will get you possibly Endrick, or for a similar amount a player like in 2022 Jesus/Sterlling/Raphfinha/Richardson.

Which one would you rather have now?

Bellingham was never coming here, that was obvious from the beginning.

There has been a decent amount of Mendy rumors every few months for a while now. I wonder if the club is going to sell him and use Alaba/Gvardiol interchangably at CB/LB.

I would imagine in this market, we could easily fetch 50M+ for Mendy. We sold Danilo for a profit after all and Mendy is actually solid, if incapable of attacking.

Yea. Mendy's contract ends in 2024 and renewal talks stalled since last season apparently.

Why not Jamal Musiala; he's better than Bellingham and without the English tax?

Or Mohammed Kudus without the english or the bundesliga tax. He's also African so might be available on a cut price.....
