Ok, I am back to the land of the Big PX.

Is Telemundo the only choice I have to watch the games?

    I do not have peacock.

If a game is on FS1, download the Fox Sports app right before the game starts. Watch the first half. Just as your 1 hour free trial is about to expire, delete the app and then reinstall it. Lather, rinse, repeat.

As great as he was the headbutt didn't enhance his legacy much like Rivaldo and Suarez! :(

The head guy that Flynn wanted to extradite lives about 25 miles from me as the crow flies*. about 45 by roads.

*Or "as the Blackhawk helicopter flies" if Flynn had his way.

By the way, the current game is the one in which I predicted an upset.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is the first one to go to penalties, either.

I do think one of the advantages of being an underdog in Euro knockouts is that the underdog is more likely to have familiarity with the big team. On a lower level, kinda the difference between a Canada playing the US vs a similarly rated second tier UEFA/CONMEBOL side or a top tier CAF/AFC side. Euros also tend to be a bit more chaotic in the group stage, which helps and probably explains why second tier UEFA doesn’t fare as well against top tier UEFA sides in the WC.

Greece was also a massive fluke.

For some unknown reason I've never been a fan of Eastern European teams. Why is that?

Flukes are what keeps the game interesting. I love it when a complacent team gets their butts kicked so long it's not mine. :cautious:

90th minute and a 1-1 tie for Japan and Croatia.
Could this be the first extra time and possibly PKs.

Ha, I forgot I started late.

Ha...when was the last time your train arrived on time? Of course I realize that has never happened at no time no how! Should have left Fashism hanging on that light pole back in '45!

This match right now is EXACTLY why I want penalty kicks to be taken after full time. Then, after a "winner" is decided, get on with extra time. If after 30 minutes the match is still tied, it goes to the team that won the PK shootout. If the team that lost the PK shootout scores and holds the lead... they win.

That would make the extra time a lot better than this has been.

Except then whoever won the pk shootout would just bunker during extra time.

Maybe I’m a sadist but I’d love to do away with penalty shootouts completely and just alternate 15 minute golden goal extra time periods until somebody scores. You ain’t getting out of this without a goal one way or another. Maybe allow an extra sub each 15 minutes so it isn’t just the walking dead out there.

Yeah, every format has it's downsides. Having the PKs before Extra Time would give the players a much longer break.
