Wilfried Nancy as new Crew HC to be announced tomorrow. Joey Saputo will have to find some new guy to abuse.

Any truth to the rumor it was a straight-up swap, Nancy for Laurent Courtois? ;)

Boy I hope not. Courtois will be wanting an upgrade one of these days for sure but I wouldn't wish working for Joey on my worst enemy.

It will however be interesting to see what Montreal managed to extort out of the Crew to get Nancy's release.

Still, there are questions about the "option" that Montreal supposedly triggered, since reportedly part of the deal back in July when Nancy wanted to quit after the big fight with Saputo was that if he finished the year they wouldn't exercise the option.

That's also tempered by the fact that Nancy apparently swore that he wouldn't work for Saputo again, contract or no.

So the team may have had some leverage but it wasnt all THAT strong.
