Well that's as clear a missed YC as you're likely to see. Give that as a FK and you can't not give a YC for SPA. Those are the kind of things that end your tournament after today.
Wtf is that ball placement at 36’? Foul occurs 3 yards from the touch line, free kick taken from 10 yards in.
Refs, I just rewatched 45-47 and cannot figure out why time wasn't blown before the England counterattack. Help?
Tell me they celebrated that 3-0 like their team just scored, because that's not an easy no-call from Katy!
The display of 2 minutes of added time is the minimum amount of time that will be added on to the half. It is not a precise measure or a promise of the time the half will end.
Barton's foul selection has adapted well to a game that by now should be just about out of Senegal's reach
I guess my question wasn't clear enough. I understand how it works. He could've kept it going for another 20 minutes, of course.
We don’t know exactly how much stoppage time has accrued. The 2 means the ref has anywhere from 2:00 to 2:59, though I suspect in the latter case they would just go ahead and signal 3. There are often things that will add time after it is signaled, but by your report that didn’t happen here. I do not think this is a variation of Fergie time, which might be what you are implying. Ultimately the game ends when the ref decides time has expired.
We're all pleased with how Katy did, and my view Barton had another good match on marginally easy match. I feel... 9.
That annoying pneumatic pressure dashboard light was blinking again... no air in ball. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2022/12/world-cup-ball-must-be-charged-before.html
I have no I have no idea how that’s a foul but not a YC for SPA. At all. Textboook caution. Not sure how to give him a satisfactory grade given such a blatant and egregious miss. I believe there was another possible YC for SPA later on as well and of course he kept the card in his back pocket because, well, he hadn’t pulled it on a more obvious SPA earlier.
Has England actually gone 4 World Cup matches without a yellow card? Wayne Rooney, Gazza, Becks, and others would like a word with the current team.
