Very possible. Even their ex-players cheer harder than ours.

The group gathering behind the goal are boisterous but also unmanageable. In the first game in Lusail, they gathered behind the goal irrespective of where their seats were and did not allow us and a few other Brazilian supporters to sit in our designated seats. Neither the police nor the FIFA representatives in the stadium could do anything about it. They wouldn't budge from that location. The police/FIFA reps had to find us new seats (which turned out to be good for us in the end as we got cushioned seats with great views).

That’s sad but I am not surprised . There are many Brazilians that have this sort of mentality . I am actually a bit torn between both sides . On one side unlike the atmosphere of singing and standing fans . On the other I feel like if I bought a seat and I want to watch the game sitting down just appreciating the game I should have the right to.

Netherlands are through without breaking much of a sweat. The USA had some good chances, but it felt like the Dutch could score goals at any point if they needed to. Still not sure how good this Dutch team is though. Next game should be vs Argentina (jinx) and a tough challenge.

Di Maria is out from today's match vs Australia.

Time to see Los Hermanos get knocked out by Australia, haha.
TEAM USA fought hard and never gave up. Pulisic missing clear chance first couple minutes could have made the match more interesting.
Horrible defending especially third goal, USA needs a new more tactical coach.
I was really hoping especially in this WC with all the upsets.
Does anybody know if Serginho from US is Brazilian ? His name, and he plays just like a Brazilian.

The amount of incompetent finishing at this level boggles the mind. The 22 from Argentina got a brilliant assist from Messi and kicked it out of the stadium.

Argentina goes through. They struggled more than expected though. Had the game mostly under control until Australia scored the deflected goal. Then they almost shit the bed. Australia had 2 good chances to draw.

I only caught the final minutes but it seemed to me Argentina should've won by a wider margin. They were closer to score on counter attacks aside from that last save by Martinez.

    OMG what incredible excitement !!!!
I swear Australia came so close.
The Globe Pub in Chicago almost collapsed. Can’t wait to see the Argies against Holland.
Why I just love this game more than anything in the world !!

I am happy that we're getting Argentina vs Holland in the QF. Holland vs any of the top SA teams is always an incredibly entertaining match up

It was a boring match. I've seen paint dry be more exciting. Until Australia scored 1.

Argies found a goal in the 1st half but nothing happened from both teams. Australia at one point seemed to pass the ball around in defense for like 5 mins and Argentina wasn't pressing to steal it that hard.

Arg 2nd goal came from GK mistake and Arg press. Still, not much up until then. After Australia score then the game caught a bit of fire. Lautaro missed 2 sitters but Australia had 2 close calls as well.

I can see both teams playing pragmatic and a repeat of WC 14 SF. The Dutch defense isn't really that great so Van Gaal may choose to play cautiously.

Mbappé ta osso. França favorita na minha opinião. Muita qualidade no ataque.

It will be VERY difficult for Brazil (or anybody else) to beat France. The match-up is also not favorable for Brazil, with France's left sector counting on the skill and speed of Theo Hernández and Mbappé while our right side defense is not as good. Currently they are playing much better than Brazil, even without Benzema and others, which is scary regarding their depth.

Despite my passion for Brazil, I'm being realistic here. This Cup belongs to France. They won't win it only if some incredible set of circumstances sets in, like a very unlucky game where they hit the woodwork several times, the opponent's goalie has the game of his life, and they concede a silly, accidental goal (a deflection, for example). I suppose the games need to be played and in soccer anything can happen, but France are CLEARLY the favorites to win it all, at this point.
