Going to the Poland game today. How far are the hub buses at Al Thumama?

The walk at Khalifa to the buses yesterday was a trek by itself whereas 974 was an absolute pleasure.

The Express Bus walk when leaving Al Thumama is by far the longest of any I did. Walked it after Canada Morocco to take a S2S bus to Japan Spain. The walk seemed to be as long or longer than the bus ride was (to go to Khalifa).

Be wary that half way through, the path splits and Metro shuttle bus go left while Express Bus go straight (or slightly right, can't remember) . One or two in a whatsapp made this mistake and couldn't work out why there was no Stadium to Stadium at their metro shuttle bus stop :D

Oh just realised you might mean when going to the stadium before game. I think arriving is easier, but for this I took a Careem taxi which dropped us off pretty close.

Khalifa I didn't find the bus walk that bad, it's one of the shorter ones. But 974 yes is indeed the fastest

Hopefully they'll drop m55 today, lots of Moroccans in Doha can't find it anywhere, not even at market price!

I have a flight at 01:45 from DOH/Hamad after England vs Senegal tonight so I’ll report back! You need to work your timings back - assuming you have online boarding card/no checked in bags, I assume you need to be at the gate at 01:05 (call it 1am) for a 01:25 fight. I haven’t flown out of the old DIA, but exit passport stamp & security have been really quick at DOH. I also guess DIA is a smaller airport, so perhaps you need to be arriving at the airport at, say, 12:45am latest? Then work your timings back from there, to jumping in a cab at Lusail then back again to leaving your seat.

Try and find a suitable spot to book or grab a cab at the stadium. I’ve not been to Lusail, but at Al Bayt the taxi rank is in a ridiculously unsuitable location, a few km walk and the other side of a bridge across an 8-lane highway! Spectator car parks could work, if your taxi driver can get in OK. There are often “taxi touts” lurking around after a game who’ve parked in these closest car parks. They will probably want QAR200-300 to the airport, which is way over priced but might be the quickest option. I’m planning to leave my seat at Al Bayt at around 23:30-23:40 latest. Good luck!

Which shop/place has the largest inventory of FIFA merchandise in Doha? Today is my last day here, want to do some shopping before I go to the airport. I saw a kid with this bag, but could not find it in any store so far.

A store manager at a stadium FIFA store told me that the store in the fan fest is the biggest. I haven't had the time to visit the fan fest, but maybe others who have been there, can chime in.

It was something like this, to get to the express buses. It's all very clear and easy the whole way, but beware of the "fork in the road" if you prefer the metro shuttle connection or to avoid it.

Tbh it was really long but not that bad, but my partner was complaining :D But in the end all the buses are there.

How are people planning to do the Al Thumama to Al Bayt today?

The bus hub at AlBayt is very near, but the hub at AlThumama is by far the farthest (40 minute walk).

How far are the areas allotted for Taxis at both stadiums? Also, can we book Kareem/Uber from there or do we need to get on those unofficial ones from there?

Larry is right. Exiting Al Thumama stadium the walk to the bus hub is 2km. We measured it with our sports watch. There is no logical reason for such a massive walk.

    All the best mate.

After the Mexico Saudi game at Lusail, I had o my 4.5 hours till my flight departed. I stayed till very end, walking out of stadium a tad after midnight, walked to Uber area, got to hotel, packed bags and changed, then went to airport and I made I through security with almost 2 hours to spare. If you leave at halftime, you can easily do it, I would just have transportation setup and waiting for you

I have 1 cat 1 M59 ticket. Looking to trade for a good M62 ticket (can pay difference in FV).

I also have a M62 but cat 2 and row EE so can trade both the M59 and M62 for a better M62 seat.
