It is a fair question if you are new to the Nadeshiko forum. The women in that photo are Mana Iwabuchi, Risa Shimizu and Honoka Hayashi who all currently represent Japan at senior level. Most of us on this forum have been following Nadeshiko for a long time so we take it for granted that people know all the players. But it would be hilarious if @unepommekun was really Mana Iwabuchi and she used this forum to practice her English.
Hey anything is possible, there isn't nearly the same celebrity/I hide myself from the public vibe with female footballers as with male footballers in general. In my defense, I am much more famliar with the Japanese women team from 2011 who won the World Cup than the current one.
Elfen have to do better when INAC give the ball away. In that first half INAC defenders gave the ball away to Elfen forwards four times(?) and really the only time they got a shot on goal from those opportunities was with Yoshida. Yumura, whom I love, gets the ball given to her and then takes a shot from 25 metres out, which surprise, sruprise goes sailing over the bar. She is fantastic on the ball and a good passer, therefore she should run at the defence, or at least make INAC defenders defend, because I am not convinced (excluding Takashige) they are very good at defending. I have watched INAC play a lot and what makes them good is their midfield. Itou, Narumiya and Wakisaka work very hard to close down opposition midfielders and prevent any space being created. Because of this Doko, Miyake and Takashige do not have to do much defending. Tanabe got her tactics wrong today in my opinion. I know last week they won with a 4-4-2, but it was against a much weaker opponent. Today they should have gone with the 4-2-3-1 just to combat the INAC midfield. But they were just outclassed. I like Seno, she looks like an interesting player. I hope she gets a bit more playing time. Tanaka made some very good passes in the second half, which I would love to see her replicate for Nadeshiko. I still hate the way she falls over as soon as she loses the ball. When she has the ball she is as strong as an ox, but as soon as she loses it she goes down faster than a house of cards. Also INAC players are always complaining. INAC were the better team and deserved to win, but it would be nice if they got punished a bit more for their errors.
Actually, it would be even more hilarious, because it would mean that Mana started posting here as a teen, one year before before winning the WWC 2011 itself! (To clarify, to @BIHfan: the apperent date when @unepommekun seemed to join BigSoccer is 2018, but actually he was posting for almost a decade before that as @unepomme; also, since you claim to be familiar with the 2011 winner team, Mana Iwabuchi is actually the only member of that team, along with Saki Kumagai, who's still playing for Japanese National Team to these days. At the time, she was very young and not yet a prominent member, but she even played 2-3 final minutes of extra-time in the final match vs USA at that tournament).
Today's result: WE League Inac (Narumiya, Takase, Hamano) 3-0 Chifure Beleza 0-1 Regina (Nakashima) She is like Mitoma. Empress's Cup second round Ange Violet 0-4 Toyo University (Kitagawa, Inayama, Kadowaki, Muraoka) Orca (Saito, Urashima 2, Fuchigami, Namiki) 5-0 Diosa Izumo
Hiroshima beat Beleza. I only watched the last thirty-five minutes but Hiroshima defended very well. Their back four are playing much better this season. I can say that, because they do have to defend. Runa Konomi also made some very nice saves, though they were hit straight at her. But she looked good last week too.
Fun fact. The graphic was made by artist Hiroki Miyauchi and was available to buy on stadium grounds in printed version (ie. on children shirts) during the matchday. It's another good move by WE League.
