... or Both clubs (like all clubs not powered completely by foreign oil state money) have been in a corrupt system which has had no regulation where FIFA, UEFA other entities and agents have colluded to loot a sport they should protect as much as possible. The ones in the end holding the bag are the clubs. The players, the agents, the organizations and all the other people around them basically transfer the clubs wealth into their own pockets. What Florentino was attempting to do was a restart to give clubs the power to destroy this rotting and vicious structure. What the foolish uneducated ignorant mouth breading English did was to fight against it because they would rather countries they condemn and attempt to look down upon own their sporting institutions if it means it is easier for them to say they can win. Had these oil countries forsaken the EPL and Paris and bought on Italian sides, these same moronic hypocrites would be at the forefront crying foul and demanding politicians step in to force equity.
I would normally say that you have a point, but the biggest red flag in this story is that CVC entered the fold in Italy with a similar deal and Italian clubs blocked the road because the deal proposed to make Tebas the president of the Serie A(multiple Serie A Clubs went on record and confirmed this to Spanish daily El Español). Tebas is rejoicing in the Juventus story, because Juve led the charge against CVC and eventually had enough backing to turn the deal down. Where does "proposing a deal for the sake of football" end, and where does personal interest and negotiating in bad faith begin? Can Barcelona and Real Madrid really trust a man that blatantly holds a position of personal interest in a company that offers money in exchange for a lack of financial and autonomy and has a word in terms of how they present themselves? The Superleague was a collection of clubs taking the trash out and creating an NFL model for football. This is where we can argue. Is that better than the exact opposite? I am absolutely convinced that the Superleague model is upon us, with Uefa or not. The big Leagues will have more guaranteed spots, there will be more exceptions made for them, and a league format of everybody plays everybody will be established. For the same reason the Superleague wanted it: a proposition of promised games between the best being guaranteed is far too attractive to turn down.
Personally I would like football to be more streamlined, less convoluted schedule, better kick off times, some sort of organizational structure. You can follow the sport but still feel like "huh, when did that happen?" every season.
What a stupid and unnecessary thing to do. Why on earth are they meeting in Dubai, who is gaining anything from this?

Yesterday the Spanish public prosecution decided against bringing any punishment for the chants against Vinicius Junior in the Madrid derby.Loud monkey chants were described as unpleasant and disrespectful, but not worthy of punishment. pic.twitter.com/CjrtHPc0SX— Football España (@footballespana_) December 3, 2022
That doesn't have much to do with the League to be honest. It reflects the majority of spanish public opinion too.
How is the system of decision making in that organization? I mean the justice body should not necessarily follow the norm of the society. On many occasions society can be wrong and should be reformed.
When the Vinicius incident happened, the people that stood by Vini were Madrid fans, and even there, a lot of them publically supported Atleti fans rather than Vinicius. I don't want to say something that might be oversimplified to "Spain is a racist country", but it's certainly a place where telling people not to do something it encourages them even more to do it. Spanish football will never change for that reason.
Marcelo's son, Enzo (13) signs his first official contract for Real Madrid.Apparently he plays as a centre forward for the U-14 side. https://www.espn.com/soccer/real-ma...arcelos-son13signs-first-real-madrid-contract
There should be consequences for some actions. Serious consequences will result in a more cautious approach in the same situations. The current policy will worsen the issue.
Watching clips of him on the Madrid channel, he’s absolutely brutal and uses his size to his advantage. He’d easily clear out two players to get up and win the header.
I like moves like these because they show the club is looking out for the players outside the realm of paying them off. Providing a good home base for those that want to have that in their life is valuable to me.

Intriguing. I remember people saying Casemiro looked a catastrophe and a half when he was at Castillas but saying he turned out well has to be the understatement of the century.
He's a RB. We have 18 ME option to make the signing permanent this summer. He's been impressing with Castilla off late. Would be cool if he develops into Hakimi type RB and we keep him.
