I feel like I want a do-over on US - Netherlands. I feel like we could beat them. But we didn't :-(. Interesting to see LeBruce's comments and "ratings" of the players. I think his comments on Berhalter were kind of self-serving. He can't bring himself to really support him. "Well the federation will have to decide if the program is going in the right direction" or something to that effect. Really? After getting a leg up on Mexico, tying and arguably outplaying England, getting to knockouts, and all with a very young team? This from the guy who at the end of his tenure couldn't get the team past Cuba to qualify. He failed, and now he wants everyone else to be seen as a failure also. Berhalter didn't knock it out of the park, but the perfect is the enemy of the good. I'd say he did good; keep him on for 2026.

So, the Niners will be going with Mr. Irrelevant QB, Brock Purdy. One thing they are saying is he was a 4-year starter at Iowa State from 2018–2021. That may help bur I tink their Super Bowl aspirations could be over.
BRING KAEPERNICK BACK!!! REDEMPTION!! The Publicity Writes Itself! If he wins a super bowl the box office movie script writes itself.
49ers are signing QB Josh Johnson off the Broncos practice squad and on to their 53-man roster, per sources. During his 13 years in the NFL, Johnson has been a member of 14 different teams, the most for a player in league history. This will be his third stint with the 49ers.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 5, 2022 GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
