Game and pool management has been a big criticism for GB. People saying as much have been insulted and told they are corporate bro negative.

Not sure it’s the players fault that it’s not natural to do this amount of mileage is such a short space of time. This is exacerbated by a pressing system.

US has been 100mph and 100% every game that is why they struggle now.

The big teams cruise in 2nd gear and only go full tilt when they are in trouble, that is why there have been some shock results. But for the most part that is how you go through the tournie and end up in the final still able to compete.

WTF is the point of putting on a sub at 92nd minute when you down 2 goals? Should be on 10-15 min earlier at least.

    Idiot!

van Dyke and Ake are playing very well. Particularly Ake, who has had great positioning today.

Wish you could have told Berhalter that. He played 10 minutes in the group stage.

Man, Yedlin is looking good. I saw him get abused by mediocre Austin FC wings, but he looks great today.

Honestly, I’ve been ok with our game plan. We just don’t have the horses.

I’ve been surprised by the amount of early crossing we’ve done with little evidence that it’s effective in the cycle.
