Good luck taking on Markus. Originally, we had created a joint bracket. Then, Geeg wanted a pay-in league for a bracket. So I gave Markus the entry to the Big Soccer league, and I made a different one for the money league. So of course, Markus’ bracket will most likely score more points.
I trace my peak of USMNT-fandom to 2002. What a year. Ever since then? Long dive. I remember Qatar being drawn and my feelings then, Jurgenism, failing to qualify, etc., etc. Long road. Life happens, right? This time around, I tried to watch qualifying when I remembered to. Now? I am trying to catch World Cup Fever. For instance, Jimmy 'Trash Can' Conrad's podcast has brought me to near tears and laughs along the way as history as been recounted and the praises for this current team have been endorsed. My kids (Markus especially) help me to remember the joy with watching one's national team. I am trying. And I am a total Yank-fangirl at heart.
