I find myself continuing to wonder what could have been. That last match left such a sour taste in my mouth.
I do not know how Switzerland could have possibly played worse than they did. Credit to Portugal for changing the game plan, but that was so poor.
Don’t think they could have played any worse, tbf. Zero intensity, the defensive shape was non-existent, and too many individual errors. Combine that with Portugal having their best match in years, and that was the result. Shameful performance, especially after the way we played against Serbia.
