The beauty in this is that (almost certainly) one will move on and the other will be eliminated. So, it's basically a knockout match which, with the background of 2010, sets up the scene nicely.
This game could be insane. Like most people, I tend to have a feeling about what could happen with any given match. That doesn't mean I'm always correct, but more often than not the match resembles what you'd think when both teams have a clear identity. This game though, I really don't know what to think. The only thing I feel confident in is that it's going to be extremely intense with multiple tempers flaring.
For me it's quite simple: if Mr Alonso leaves both Suarez and Cavani in bench Uruguay will win, otherwise, uncertain.
Not gonna lie, I don't have much expectations for tomorrow after the first twot games. At this point I don't want to leave as the only team that didn't manage to score However I still have hope and I can't sleep right now. Let's go!
They're trying to get into Ghanas heads. I knew he would start. Only 1 player on the field for Ghana today (Andre Ayew) played in that 2010 match.
I predict Ghana 2 Uruguay 2 Ghana will dominate the match but be punished for costly turnovers/mistakes.
Came in to comment the very same! Three time and no more than 5 minutes gone. Trying to influence the referee from minute one. p.s. They are playing Suarez just to infuriate the referee in my opinion.
Nonsense The two went for a tackle and the Ghana guy scraped his studs across the other guys knee .. watch the slo-mo
Uruguay in danger of becoming the only country in the world cup finishing without a single goal Suarez and Cavani should just retire if this happens
