Calma. Let's see what they do against the dutch. Much tougher competition.

I totally hate the USMNT actually. Good time to go out is when they play because all the drones think their games are worth watching.

Yeah, it's probably just the Portuguese in me talking, but the Dutch never scare me and they haven't exactly played great at this tournament.

They certainly should beat the U.S., but it wouldn't shock me if they didn't. So far they've produced a lower expect goals total than the U.S., which is surprising.

NED's 2-0 win over Senegal was an extremely flattering final score for the Dutch. That easily could've been another one of the many 0-0 draws we've seen thus far.

YOU BETTER NOT LET ME DOWN. 5 games left. You guys can do this. You guys look very solid with maybe a couple of small issues at the back to fix.
    WIN THIS CUP!

Argentina looking to score but Poland just doing enough defensively. Messi with the PK miss.

God this team is always so injury plagued every tournament. Never fails. So now we’re left with Raphael at LB, maybe Cancelo and Dalot can play RB.. Anyone else ?

Still when he’s in form he’s dangerous. He will be missed but Raphael has been edging him out lately. Now we can have a dual option of Cancelo or Raph at LB OR Cancelo/ Dalot at RB…

I love Mendes but he looked awful what little time he did play. You could tell he wasn’t fully recovered from the injury, I got nervous every time he touched the ball. Didn’t have the same pace he usually does, waited forever to get rid of the ball and couldn’t get space. It was rough

How does a team like Poland make it to knockouts. They are awful.

Bracket starting to take shape. Winner of Australia v Argentina faces winner of Netherlands v USA in quarters. Lol im not even convinced Dutch will beat USA. Argentina with a free ride to the semis

Potential England vs France quarterfinal as well.

This tournament won't start for Argentina until the semi's. What a joke.

And that penalty awarded to Messi was Fishy. GK made contact with Messi after Messi hit the ball. No penalty.

Just like 2014. He’s been FIFA’s poster boy for years. They’ll do anything to help carry him.

If you're coming from a muscular injury and you aren't fully recovered that affects your performance. I hope Mendes sorts the muscular problems he has, since Sporting first team he is likelly to have problems of this type during the season.

    lol

Mexico got what they deserved. Pathetic how they played against Argentina. Handed them the game on a silver platter.

Can say what you want but Portugal would never dominate Poland in the way Argentina did.

We are evidently levels below Brazil, Argentina and France.

Yeah, but we are better than Poland to the point that we are able to get a win against those three teams. Your pessimism is annoying. We are in the world cup. It’s do or die. Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina. You think we aren’t capable of doing the same? Anyway, Poland was playing not to lose too badly while hoping Mexico and Saudi Arabia didn’t out point them. There is a difference with that compared to playing not to lose.

I dont think its that they were playing not to lose, argentina is just that much better than them, another level.

It reminded me of the way Benfica has been dominating all season.

They also lost to Belgium 6-1 in the Nations league.
When was the last time Portugal lost that badly to a team?
