What? This can't be real. Are you serious? Denmark?

For as sketchy and drab as some teams' World Cup performances have been so far, I'd say Denmark is taking a back seat to no one!

They're playing like Hans Christian Blandersen.

Good for the Socceroos! I didn't expect to see them come out of Group D at all.

I don't know what you're talking about. It's been a great World Cup for me so far (with Belgium the only possible exception).

Good. No longer as unfortunate. No goal. Offside.

Even though it was a vastly changed French side, that's a luxury they could afford since they played so well in the first 2 games. Still, Tunisia can say they defeated the defending World Cup champs. As was mentioned though, France's second-stringers are still pretty darned good players.

Here I'm hoping for the POL-ARG draw so we can get that tasty FRA-ARG match in the R16... X-D

Well, Poland starting more MLS players than the USMNT. Granted it is only one, but it still counts.

Did Edson Alvarez hit the back of the ref to get his attention after that yellow?

BTW, total minutes by MLS players for the U.S. at this WC is now below 9%, less than half of the prior low percentage since the league started.

These broadcasts have been shit when it comes to useful replays.

I wasn't listening, but I was expecting to see if the play was onside more than a potential foul in the box.

After on field review, penalty for Argentina.

Lol that is never a penalty. Minimal contact, ball is flying over the endline already. Total joke.

Ball don't lie though, Messi sucks at penalties.

    Wow.

There’s no question about the contact, but penalizing the goalkeeper for that is harsh. I think that’s a superstar call.

    Aaaaaaand ball don’t lie.

No matter what happens the rest of the way, Szczesny is the goalkeeper of the tournament.
