It's sad that Griezmann's goal was denied for France's dynamic.He was indeed offside at the free kick but then the Tunisian defender messed up and put back Griezmann onside to me, but it's been judged differently. I must say I don't understand anything anymore about all those complicated offside sub-rules. What's important in the end is that the referee's decision remains final, so let's forget about it and focus on the second round.

 

Wow! I turned it off, seems the goal was cancelled and Tunisia get their win! Irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but I thought it ended a draw!

It is such a stupid decision they will make a rule using this example to give an example of what is not an offside

What they say on that referee forum is that the rule changed so that a defender touching the ball doesn't put back onside a forward that was earlier offside. It's a recent change, so it's understandable that people are confused. Now yes, it doesn't change anything as France is still 1st of its group and Australia 2nd.
