France are starting an almost entire B-team.
    Thats smart actually.
Australia would have to score 5 or 6 goals to catch them

If Denmark win 1-0 and Tunisia win 2-0, then Tunisia go through

The French substitutes don't play well. Tunisians are giving everything to take advantage of their small chance to qualify.

France phoning it in and giving Tunisia a fighting chance.

Same will happen with Portugal and Brasil (but Brasil doesn't play friendlies and has wicked depth)

I get the squeaky feeling it will be Australia vs Denmark draw and Tunisia beats France 1:0.

I have the squeaky feeling that you are right when it comes to Australia vs Denmark. Denmark are completely outplaying Australia but are making horrible decisions in the final third. That's thought for the other thread, though.

Several players in this French XI are pretty average. And they are not used to play together either.

    There you go, 1-0 Tunisia.

Now if Denmark make it 1-0 its game on

    Mbappé and Rabiot are in.
Tunisia will play all defence now hoping for a Danish goal I guess.

Mathematically, they would go through if they score 2 more goals to France but they don't play for it.

No, because Australia has 6 pts, Tunisia at best can have 4.

    Still, all in the past.

Yeah, hoped they would at least get a win for the history books, even if other game made this score irrelevant.

Denmark massively overhyped, deservedly last in group.
