Yes. While Kevin, his dad and Neil did appear once last season in the single-camera dark comedy world, it was only in Allison’s daydream where she ended up slitting Kevin’s throat. In any case, new episode tonight. -G
Started watching this show mostly because I really like Annie Murphy but I'm coming around to the idea that Mary Hollis Inboden is actually giving the best and most nuanced performance out of the entire cast.
This is now essentially more a show about the messy relationships one forges - sometimes to the detriment of well-being - than it is an exploration of the idiocy of a certain type of sitcom tropes. I feel like it is really starting to get good and interesting just as it is about to end. Just two more episodes.
I feel like this show spent a season and a half to find its footing, figure out what it wanted to be. Then the final half of season two got really interesting. A shame it's over just as it was starting to get good.
