Qatar at this World Cup: 0 wins, 0 draws, 3 defeats, -7 GD. 12 years and billions in bribes, et. al. just to look like muppets in front of the world.
When the entire Juve board resigned you knew there was some f*** s*** going on with the finances. They know they finagled the numbers and now even the FIGC are involved. Edit: First it was the Italian gov't and now it's the FIGC. As the rats scurry to get out before the cats are released, Javier Teblas is saying "Told you so!"
Vlahovic better enjoy his match against Switzerland this week its about to go all downhill from here...
Does Juve have RM status in Italy? I feel like there is a lot of political capital in punishing Juve.
Haven't really followed France this cup. But do know that MG hasn't gotten any minutes until today when DD made major rotations. He started and made it to 79' before he was taken off.
I think it's political based on territorial and historical flashpoints. Calciopoli for one, Florence has had it in for Juve since Baggio left, et. al.
Oops, guess I misread that one. Vanity is only so powerful when faced with $4 Million a week for 2.5 years. Jesus.
🚨An arrest warrant is being prepared for Tottenham director Fabio Paratici. He is under investigation for information rigging, false corporate communications and false invoicing during his time at Juventus. #THFC@Gazzetta_it / @footballitalia— The Spurs Watch (@TheSpursWatch) November 30, 2022 ROFLMAOSPURS
it's always easy to say you'd say no to that type of money until it's offered to you. i mean, mad props to tiger woods for saying no but not a lot of people would.
This appears to be at the board and executive level, but it would be even more Sp*rsy If Conte was entangled in this too.
Some of this stuff was apparent and reported on when he was hired. But football is a business where fraud is allowed apparently
Juve's fate doesn't really bother me much. Especially given their past history and past Italian football scandals. Probably my biggest concerns short-term are that it doesn't get inside Weston McKennie's head in any negative way, given what's on his plate right now in Qatar, and that it doesn't negatively impact AWFC's ability to beat Juve at home next week, and start to cement our place in the KO rounds of WUCL. I don't mind if you call me me narrow minded and self centered.
If Juventus do get relegated over cooking the books, does anyone think there is any chance their players will be as loyal as the last time they were relegated?
It's far worse since it involved FFP; we might be approaching "Liverpool after Heysel" territory here.
