Did Goff or local reporters ever get around to reporting that Ochoa has already been recorded in San Luis with the team he has signed with, Atletico San Luis?

It's zero surprise Ochoa left this team, been saying for months he would be world class stupid to stay.

So, he's not going to work out here at all then, I guess.

How is this guy related to Rooney - did he come up in the Iraqi Manchester United affiliate? Or does Rooney have a distant Swedish relative? Does Colleen like Swedish meatballs? Does she want an Ikea discount?

I assume he comes flat packed for easy shipping and storage. Some assembly required...

This is good. Our other two main stay CBs are Birnbaum (one solid hit from a career ending concussion) and Hines-Ike (who may not fully recover).

It was pretty clear he was a temporary signing because he was on his way out anyway from the moment he was signed (RSL had already moved on as if he'd already left) - a few optimistic folks just got excited that the mysterious and powerful Mr Wayne might be somehow able to convince him to make a bad career move and stay in MLS.

I got a tweet earlier saying it was Hines-Ike's birthday!

Is there anyone who throws their head dangerously into bad positions like Birnbaum does?

You forgot that the team traded for Derrick Williams already?

Good for him. Some games, it seemed like he was the only one putting in any effort, or at least willing to look like he was trying. Won a lot of balls back that "our better players" gave away.

So Drew will be playing in Colorado while his wife, Andi Sullivan, is Captain of the Washington Spirit. How is that going to work out?

Maybe some of their away games will line up in places near each other.
They'll be way happier to see each other on off-weeks/off-seasons than at the end of long days of training and games.

I feel a little bit for athletes that end up like that (usually temporarily), but it's nothing compared to, say, military couples that get stationed away from each other :)

I'm curious to see where he, Pedro Santos, and Martin Rodriguez all slot in next season. We definitely have more players than we have starting spots in certain parts of the field now, and that's not a bad thing.

I don't know why you guys are talking about this stuff.

I am just so happy Skundrich won't play for DC United again! That's such great news!

In the list of worst United players ever Skundrich is way from the bottom of that list.

I can't blame Skundrich for his time here. He was promoted beyond his ability -- but he seemed to give it everything he had. I hope he finds success in Colorado Springs.

It is going to be difficult without his wife (not sure if they have kids) but he wasn’t the issue.

Now we have a mostly revamped back line and a decent goal keeper. Let’s see where that gets us.
