Gladbach won again. Former Dortmund employee Farke is the coach. I personally was really impressed with Farke at Norwich and he was high up on the people I wanted to take over from Favre. Really interested to see if he can implement his football with Gladbach.

Since he only has a few days I'd be really surprised if he were to trouble us.

Glad we got rid of him too... hahah : )
I like Terzic, there is nothing spectacular about him, but he does have a grittiness you can't help but admire about him.

Terzić loves the club so much he'd rather work as a janitor at the Westfalenstadion than coach another club elsewhere.

I actually am very impressed with Terzic. He doesn't try and be too smart and actually does the things everyone can see. He motivates the players and seems to have gotten good results.

I would have killed to have had him as manager when we had stronger teams.

Just saw the Augsburg-Bayern highlights. Augsburg's goalie was great but the amount of chances Augsburg had was surprising.
Despite a lack of results recently in the league, there is no other team in the league that comes close to how they can play football. Much can change for the better for them once Mane delivers and Sane constantly plays at his best. Musiala is on his way to become one of the best offensive players in Europe.

We play against them after Cologne in 3 weeks. Hopefully, just like Leipzig, they don't turn it around against us. Augsburg were at times very physical and ran for over 120km (we ran 114km today). We need to match such an effort against Bayern.

It was always a good sign to see T Hazard, Meunier and Witsel in the starting line up for Belgium since I was cheering for Morocco ;)

We have a lot of deadwood to clear starting with the two Belgians, but lucky we are shot of Witsel. I don't know how he gets so many games doing nothing, but hiding.

We also need to sell Malen, Bellingham and Reyna this season.

My thoughts on Reyna were summed up during the England vs USA match. Reyna had the ball on the edge of the area and messed up with a simple pass which would have put the USA in a dangerous attacking position. Now that's not too bad, but it was his reaction which confirmed all his problems. He jumped up with his hands on his head and did not even try to track back whilst England led a dangerous counter attack. Now keep on mind this is a must gain points match for the USA. It was in the 82nd minute or so and he had just come on in around the 80tj minute. Instead he left his tired team mates to chase the English players. That attitude is just not acceptable and we haven't got time for him to learn.

Agreed. There are worrying signs about Reyna. Though, I would give him and Malen the rest of this season as their last chance to prove their worth. I'm ok selling Jude at the end of this season since everyone is so crazy about him, and since we may face a recession soon. But we must get good money for him, otherwise keep him. I would also add Can to the list. Now we'd really be in rebuild mode, because this management will only replace these players with young ones and not established ones. I wish we can do add more experience+talent though.

Yes I would add Can to the list. We should try and get good money on all of them. We will probably be able to get 100 million for Bellingham alone.

This summer is key, because for the first time in 10 years we won't be able to rely on Reus to bail us out.

Malen is never going to be a success here, because he is a 2nd striker not a winger. We are actually holding his development back. We have no role for Malen and Adeymi offers everything he does. It was very poor planning to buy both and arguably neither should have been the priority.

At least Germany is not going to do great things while Reus watches from home again.

They were slightly unlucky with the exit this time, but Flick should have gone for it more right from the start against Costa Rica. That march was actually there for q 6-1 win.
Starting a half fit Muller was a mistake. I don't think there is a coincidence that how uncompetitive the Bundesliga is correlated with German's poor performance in recent years.

German football needs to seriously reevaluate a lot of things.

Bayern did own Barca in the CL group phase though. Also, Japan's best players at this WC are BuLi players. That said, the mistake was on Flick. Should have started Fullgrug every singe match. Germany dominated possession vs Japan and Costa Rica but the inability to score showed why Mueller was ineffective. Starting with an all out striker would have been much smarter considering all the possession, shots on goal and advances in the opponent's box. Germany recorded 67 shots on target in the three group matches against Japan, Spain and Costa Rica – more than any other participant in the preliminary round! Instead we wasted time with Mueller. Great player and 5 goals scored in 2010 AND 2014 but that was a different Germany and a different Mueller.

I hate refs who want to be part of the show. This clown called Lahoz managed to anger both teams. I hope they stop picking him.

Season over for Neuer due to a skiing accident.
Unfortunately for the rest of the league, Bayern is still able to win the league with one of those dummies that are used to practice free-kicks in goal.
