Took me about two hours total I’d say. Already inside watching Netherlands/Ecuador on the stage screen. We’re all going to be deaf after this right?
Seller will just transfer the tickets to you and then you accept them in the app, with the same email that's tied to a FIFA account. Very smooth process. However, the app has been getting annihilated and lots of tickets are stuck in limbo... some user reported it took an hour just for the recipient to get their tickets on match day!
Also done all 8, favourite is Al Bayt with Al Thumama in 2nd. Definitely recommend the McDonalds at Al Bayt, quick and efficient but check out the aesthetic, nice touch.
What’s the process looking like for unsold tickets last minute? Looking for 1 extra for M22 tomorrow for a friend living in Doha to attend with us and have seen the stadiums being somewhat empty for some games on tv
With all due respect, locals just don’t know how to behave when hopping into a metro station or waiting in lines. I’ve been to plenty of events around North America and Europe and I’ve never seen anything like this. Just brutal. The organizers clearly were not prepared for crowd control. Volunteers (or voluntolds) are very poorly trained and do little in the way of organizing the crowds. This place is just overwhelmed with the people that are here.
Downgraded from cat 1 to cat 2 for Eng USA and ended up in the 300 level right in front of the uk studio team.
Express busses are clearly the way to go to get home. Nobody is using them when there is a metro option. Left 5 minutes after the final whistle and watched 95% of the people leaving Al Bayt walk to the metro shuttle to Lusail. I went to the bus hub and was on a bus to West Bay with zero wait. We’re currently cruising with no traffic back to Doha
Al Bayt is my favorite Stadium so far because the bus hub is so damn close to the stadium. Also it’s a nice walk through a park to get there
There were lots of CAT 3 tickets for match 24 in Intl Resale about an hr ago. I was checking while at AL Bayt.
Dont take uber on the way back in Al Bayt. Been in the parking lot for +40min. On the way to Al Bayt uber wasn’t that bad.
I’m on the bus back to Al Janoub. Was like a 10 min walk to get to the hub and 5 mins to get on the bus and go
Does anyone have current information about going from Dubai to Doha by private bus or rental car? I know this is a controversial topic, but just curious if anyone has made the trip already so we can have real information.
