You even left out Bello and Reynolds from '01!

I'd be more worried about it if the '02s didn't include Reyna, Musah, Scally, M. Tillman, and Busio. Of course, 4 or 5 of those guys could be deemed too valuable to release.

Maybe you know the details (I don't), but the only positive thing I can see, at least for Uly, is that after a strong '19-'20, '20-'21 was a complete disaster for him, and supposedly involved some personal, family or some sort of issues, not sure what. He vanished, bubbled back up at St. Polten in Austria, and actually played last year. Granted it's a horrific level (Austria 2nd tier), but he finally played minutes after disappearing for a year and was reasonably okay at least in terms of counting stats (6 goals, 2 assists in 1700 minutes), this year he has 3 goals in about 650 minutes. I don't really know what this means, but if nothing else, at least it stabilized. With KDLF it just looks hopeless.

How has Tessman been? All I know about Venezia is they got relegated after a solid start to the '21-'22 season, and they've more or less imploded in Serie B this year. Tessman seemed to be coming around last spring. Any reports on how he's played?

    Bello is a 2002

Reynolds, yes, I should have mentioned him as a 2001 (I went back and edited my initial post to include him). I am not sure if he's good or bad at the moment.

From watching Venezia last year Tessman physically looked up for Serie A but looked very naive tactically.

This year has been a bit of a disaster so far for venezia but from what it sounds like he's been up and down.

Tessmann has only played 328 out of a possible 810 minutes for Venezia so far. He hasn't been injured.

Kellman has three goals and two assists for Leyton Orient, that's not too shabby.

yeah, but it’s League Two in the 4th tier. It’s a second loan from QPR because League One didn’t work out. He’s right back where he was with Southend.

You really can’t count that as a W

He's not registered for the Europa League.

He's not good enough to be part of their matchday squad for Greek Super League games (only 5 non-EU players can dress for a Greek Super League game and Olympiacos has 8 or 9 other non-EU players).

That is what is up with him. No conspiracies. It's rather simple.

What a waste of talent. Konrad has one of the best ball control skills in the pool. He must be totally arse in the playing-with-others part of the game. Or a tactical dunce. Shame.

Valladolid again interested in Konrad so are Burnley, Sampdoria, Sassoulo, Beskitas, and Anderlecht.

The Olmpiakos move was always weird to me. Seemed too rushed to me.

Talent is there for Konrad. Clearly needs to work on practice habits and work on his end product, but he and his agent also have to be smarter about where he goes

Likely to go on loan elsewhere:

    Matteo Moretto

Konrad de la Fuente will leave Olympiacos in January. He will not return to Marseille, he will continue on loan to another team. News told on Twitch

Anderlecht would be a good place for him to end up. Their season has started out slow form them, he could help the club. Plus the league is a solid one.

Anderlecht would be good for him. The question is whether he'd be good for Anderlecht.

If he can't get onto the bench at Olympiacos, who play in a much weaker league, there's not much reason to think that he would

I agree to your point. The top of the Belgian league is pretty solid. They go about 8 teams deep that could play in Europe. The big question is why was he not even making the bench in Greece. Lots of talent ...

Let me add one more thing, if he did end up at Anderlecht, the U23 squad is in the 2nd Division, Challenger League. He could play there to get back into shape and potentially work his way into the first team.

Spain is a possible loan destination:

    @LaMinuteOM_

    (l'équipe)

On the departure side, OM, who say they are not looking for central defenders and sweep away rumors of a sale of Balerdi, the club would like to find a loan in L1 for Isaak Touré. And another abroad, possibly in Spain, for Konrad de la Fuente.

His time at OM started so well too. The talent is there. Just needs to get professionalism right and probably some luck with the next move.

The #OM wants to find an alternative for Konrad de La Fuente if there is no offer for him.

He will finish his season in Greece if no club positions itself on him.

That would be interesting. And JAZ play in the eereste too, so he'd potentially have more professional PT options. What little I've seen of they guy - mostly from his start at OM - he looked like he could handle himself at a decent pro level. It's kinda perplexing. I blame his parents for giving him a name out a Harlequin bodice ripper. (not that I know anything about harlequin bodice rippers, but if I did, I'd expect a strapping shirtless guy named Konrad climbing off his polo pony in Andorra in front of the family's beloved but financially ruinous vineyard... but I digress.)

Part of Konrad's many problem's in Greece is that he doesn't have an EU passport and there is a limit to how many non-EU players can suit up in a game in Greece.

Now, in the Eredivisie you have the high minimum salary for non-EU players. Why would AZ pay that? They are having a great season (sitting second in the table, just two points off the lead).

I don't have any inside information here. But just ask yourself, does a club surging in the Eredivisie title race need to take a risk on a kid who 1) had a miserable 2022, 2) has never really proven himself anywhere, 3) had his professionalism questioned at Marseille, 4) was then shipped to Olympiacos where he didn't play or even make matchday squads, 5) and would be really expensive because he is a non-EU?

It just seems hard to believe with all of that information that an overachieving club like AZ would say - "That's our guy!"

EDIT: The only way it works is if Marseille agrees to subsidize all or most of his salary either after a transfer, or a loan with an option to buy. Schalke did that for Haji Wright so he could go to VVV, so there is precedent. But even then, AZ would have other concerns.
