I’m not getting discord notifications anymore. See some others saying the same thing. Anybody got them in the past 24 hours? Was catching up and read the posts on the drop around 2-3 am Qatar time today. My last Discord notification was about 2 days ago I think.

The announced crowd at Iran v Wales was over 40k. There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that there were that many fans.

Hard to beat a World Cup environment. Finding Doha to be a cool, clean and safe city. I personally haven’t missed the alcohol at the games, but I’ll admit the usual lubricity present in a crowd that’s been imbibing is certainly missing. Never been one to get wasted before, during or after a game really, but I’ll never begrudge anyone enjoying an adult beverage. I’ll say this, it’s been nice to leave a game and not have to maneuver around a belligerently drunk crowd. I can only imagine how things might have been with the difficulties catching a taxi or Uber people experienced last night if everyone had been wasted. Too bad Qatar’s team has not performed. That would only add to the excitement in the environment.

Has anyone seen any cat 3 tickets at all in the resale during this week? Or am I wasting my time?
I've seen plenty cat 1 and 2 for the quieter games.

Yes, plenty. The drops usually occur between 2 and 3 AM Doha time.

There will be for sure 2 cat 3 tickets: France- Denmark and England- Wales.

The first one is in conflict with Argentina- Mexic, the 2nd one I won't attend because I don't have accommodation until 29. I have to leave on 27. For this reason there will be also other tickets in resale, cat 1 and cat 3.

 

super... do you think there is any chance at all a cat 3 will come up for ARG MEX at the very last minute?

And what are the chances of waltzing in 30 mins into the game as someone mentioned here?

 

Took me about one hour to get from my seat at Qatar/Senegal to the “Stadium to Stadium” bus on way to England/USA. Currently on route to Lusail!

 

Probably - there were a few last night and the night before. I think the place will be packed though so may not get free entry

 

For that game just grab whatever you see available.

 

On mine too, did the walk in about 30m. Would make sense to have S2S as the first one you get to rather than the absolute last! Hopefully the driver knows it’s at Al Bayt rather than Lusail.

Update - Driver missed the turn and we’re now on the hard shoulder of the Al Khor Coastal Rd in the wrong direction.

 

Having to walk all the way to the very last bus was the worst. They’ve overestimated the crowd control aspect and it’s lead to absolute jackassery

 

PSA for future Ahmed Bin Ali games. I took the express bus instead of the metro after the game today and it couldn’t have been easier. Zero wait, no traffic, dropped me at West Bay within 30 minutes, where I caught the red line
