Similar situation happened to a friend. If you are unable to deliver the tickets you listed, stub hub will charge you 125% of the ticket sale price. For him, he bought a ticket but was able to get two tickets of FIFA portal. Sent one of the tickets he was able to get off the portal because you can't sell/transfer the ones that were sold to you. The whole thing is a mess and hate third party rip offs. One thing you can do I guess, is instead of transferring the tickets by email (which you can't) email the person saying you will meet them somewhere outside the stadium and have them walk in with you. They will need to confirm they received the tickets though. I hope you can figure it out. Personally, I'm refusing to use these third party vendors for purchases or sales. I just want to watch football and enjoy, not make an extra dollar off another fan.
I don't have any matches today but about a hour ago I pulled up the app on my secondary phone (have a random game next week) and when I tried to login it crashed. I force-stopped the app, opened it again and logged in successfully. Force-stopping the app also got my USA-Wales tickets to appear while I was in the queue to enter.
So far so good! The beds are really comfortable and they do provide towels and shower items like shampoo and body wash. The tv's have bein sport but only in Arabic. There are a lot of other channels available but you can only watch the demo for like 50 seconds and then you have to pay. On the 3rd day they do come and clean so today was the first for me and it was really nice to come back to a freshened up place. The staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. There's security 24/7 and a staff member in the lobby at all times. We only got 1 key for 3 guests which sucks but we've managed. And either the walls are sound proof but I haven't been bothered by neighbors whatsoever. We're really happy with it so far and we stayed 1 night in the Barwa cluster and this is such an upgrade and worth the price.
anyone experiencing really long wait times to enter the portal? When the discord alarm goes off, I log in and it makes me wait about 20-25 mins. By that time, all the tickets are gone..
I had originally booked an $80 studio in Barwa Barahat Al Janoub Cluster, but last week they offered to upgrade me to a 3-bedroom apt in Umm Besher Barwa Madinatna Cluster for free so I took it. Nice to have a kitchen and washing machine, I've got a TV with a ton of channels including a ton of beIN channels in different languages including a 4K English channel. I had a problem with water pressure, filed a ticket with their online maintenance system and two workers came to fix it in a few mins. Furnishings inside are the cheapest of the cheap. Handles fall off furniture and kitchen cabinets ever time I use them, but definitely worth $80.
By the time the alarm goes off it is too late. You need to be logged in before the drop happens. Times are predictable and the scanner is very useful for that.
Hi everyone! Been following this thread for sometime now. I wanted to ask a question about accommodation. I am going to Qatar in the 1st week of December to watch KOs. I had originally planned to stay only for 4 days, but recently decided to extend it to 8 days. For first 4 days, I am staying at clusters. For the remaining days I had to book a room in Caravan City because clusters were unavailable. After the booking, I have come across some not-so-good reviews about the place. I will be travelling alone. The place looks deserted in videos. Could not see any fans anywhere. I have booked type B room. Does anyone here have any idea about the place? Is it safe? Is it liveable? Have been anxious since I booked it.
Not the nicest jersey or newest design, but if you just need something, the fanbox was a good buy at Carrefour (got mine at the Mall of Qatar). Just go up a size or two, they run small. $65 QAR.
No,no just the camera, the idea is to defend that you are taking amateur photos, so that is my argument. Funny thing, this time the guy said that i was able to film with this and stream. I laughed about it, with my 13 years old D5100. , and honestly I only brought it because I have really low seats (row 1 to 5), and since I don't love watching from there, at least I want to take some decent pictures
Hi do You know the answer? If I put main ticekts to resele, my guest still can go to the match without any problem?
This is very interesting detail. I have decided against attending Game 36 and instead going to game 35. I thought of offering one of those 2x Cat#3s here and re-sell the main applicant ticket back on the resale portal. But it appears like this is fraught with risk of being stuck with one ticket and/or comes with likelihood of jeaporadizing the other ticket. Damn FIFA! Do keep us posted on how this pans out.
Go to one of the malls, they have several banks (qnb, commercial, dukhan bank etc) and money exchange stands. You can get them there. It is 75qar
How long until the security people learn the rules? This is driving me crazy. I had to fight to take in my DJI Pocket camera. The thing is half the size of a cell phone. Doesn’t extend out. They were yanking on the gimbal. I’m having a blast at matches but the security is a huge mystery. I check in everything else at restricted items but I like to have my pocket camera.
If it’s anything like Russia they’re already gone. I met a guy in Samara Russia that told me basically the bank managers bought all the bills they were sent and then resold them to the secondary market. it’s Qatar so I wouldn’t expect the same but I have fiends that are there and it’s been impossible to get even one.
Who offered this upgrade...FIFA accomodation itself???...is this common , also is it requested on demand or upgraded by themselves
