New error: You can transfer tickets... Guest can accept them and...... then guest doesnt see any ticket... and your transferred tickets are shown as pending (they are actually accepted) and you may try to cancel transfer but it wont work because they arent yours anymore... So those tickets are now in vacuum. Either they will process acceptance later on and guest will see tham near the game or they are lost. Edit: Same thing when guest returns tickets... you get email, but tickets are never downloaded back... Other tickets that havent sent are visible.
Unbelievable how incompetent they are And no statement from them at all, they just keep going as nothing had happened ...
FIFA were allowing the main applicant to sell a ticket up till Friday. I myself sold one main applicant ticket after transferring to a guest. However, they have stopped allowing people to do so from Friday onwards.
I can confirm this issue. I see pending tickets under sent/received tickets menu. My guests have accepted but the transfer is stuck in pending status.
In 2018, they had a lounge where they served food and drinks - fairly basic and not at all worth the price. More importantly, the section of those seats is occupied by sober crowd If you are going to the same match, you can always offer the ticket to someone who is willing to meet you at the stadium. Or share the account details if that's the only ticket you have. As far as I know, they are not matching the name on the ticket with that on Hayya.
I know people keep saying this, but at USA-Wales, it did seem like they checked my ticket name against my Hayya card name. They read out the ticket name and then looked to see if Hayya had the same. Mine matched, so I’m not sure what would have happened if they didn’t.
I did it today at Argentina v Saudi, tkt was in my daughter's name who's married so completely different surname ......
Yes. Food and all beverages included in the hospitality village. There was Budweiser, Corona, and a selection of wines.
Thanks. It's mixed feedback. Would be interested to hear anyone who was topped from going in just because their ticket wasn't in their name. I am guessing this will be very common with so many tickets changing hands.
Common that there will be lots of ppl with unmatched names on their tickets? Yes. Common that these ppl would be turned away. *HIGHLY* unlikely. What's their incentive for doing so? More empty seats? Irate customers? They already have the $. So, what would they gain by sending ppl away? It's an anti-tout measure/deterrent for purchasing tickets. But doesn't really serve any purpose when it comes time to use the ticket. Especially in the relatively closed system Qatar is right now (e.g., Hayya req'd to enter country, etc.)
Now that the matches are over for the day... Who went to multiples? If so, which ones? What were the commutes like, wait times, etc.? Has it affected your plans for future multi-match days?
Hi guys. Me and my wife are landing in Doha 30 November early at noon. What’s the chances we can get Arg x Pol tickets (starts 10pm), or even if getting tickets from people on the spot?!
Much smoother experience post-match today, both at Lusail and Janoub. The bus depot felt like a million miles away from Lusail Stadium, but at least there was clear signage and directions. Janoub was very smooth. Going to do the Khalifa + Ahmad Bin Ali double tomorrow again, so hopefully it goes smoother than it did yesterday.
I’ve gotten about 3 hours of sleep the last 3 nights and my first match tomorrow starts at 4 pm so I’m 100% catching up on sleep
Update: spent 1 hour and 30 minutes in the line at the stadium ticketing center. Eventually got tickets printed off as they were stuck in that no-man’s-land that transferred tickets were in. I had no issues though that they were purchased ona 3rd party site
Has anyone had any issues when switching lodging? I booked something months ago through QAA. We decided to stay somewhere nicer once the hotel we wanted opened up. The prior accommodations are linked to our Hyaa. I know I’m going to have to pay for the prior reservation; however, I haven’t received a clear answer on whether or not this creates issues with the Hyaa. I guess we’ll find out.
