As if the us would complain about an arm band supporting human rights. It's not about being perfect. It's about not hiding human rights violated by a state system. That's all. If Infantino wouldn't live in Zürich or Doha, the guy would face trail.

The whole thing disgusts me, but unfortunately no big country will step out of line because they are all knee deep in the corruption themselves.

That's a great idea. Also the Iranian team not singing the anthem. I like.

I agree with you, in principle.

But what if a player wants to use the platform to express what are his personal views?

Should he not be allowed the freedom to express his thoughts.

ON Topic of Team Germany: Glad that Fuellkrug is back in training.
Use him as a super sub? Or start with him?

    At least there are options.

WC of shame? Definitely seem to have started this way for Germany!!
    Seriously:
    What a bunch off... pathetic ... &$&#*$&*)#
After losing confortably to Spain we'll be out in the GS for a second straight WC!! I wouldn't want to be associated with the worse WC German record of all time like all of those who were on both of these teams... They should never be allowed to wear the Jersey again...

Goretzka, Kimmich, Musiala, Gnabry defeated Barcelona twice in the UCL a few weeks ago. (with choupo moting and mané).

Just put sané (similar to Mané) and choose one of Muller or Havertz (choupo moting). Not really difficult. It's against the same midfielder (busquests, gavi and pedri)

Score more goals? Seriously, this is a problem with low block teams, they always kill us on the counter (Mexico, S. Korea and Japan). With Spain, I don't expect to see as much of the "park the bus" strategy but more of an open game. Then it comes down to who takes the chances they create.

What bugs me is the last time we met, we got trashed 6-0 and I don't see that much improvement in the team.

Hansi must altered the formation and the personnel. No more Muller. Fullkrug must start.

I would like some fighting spirit or at least neutral approach for the thread opener. Germany is not out yet.

The question is how do we set up against their ticki tacka. Hansi will have to bite the bullet and try to counter them. Bayern had hugh success against the same midfield recently.
