No Gio Reyna, which is a big question. But what else did Greg get wrong? Subs came on but they weren't the answer. And I think the team was just gassed. Can't really forget about the moment and the emotional exhaustion that comes with that sometimes.

Some of the most wretched one-sided officiating that I've ever seen

He got out coached. Page saw that we weren’t creating chance for all of our possession and told his dudes to venture further forward.

Way too conservative all first half. We paid in the second. As mentioned before, no more Yedlin. You've got the lead against a team with their head down. Go for it. I'd rather give up a goal as we were going after it. We alway have to rely on somebody else being just that much worse than we are.

Okay, we can breathe again... but we've seen Gregg yet again being unable to make adjustments. And unless Gio is injured, why didn't he come on???

But overall, not a bad performance until the last 20'...

Ref was ********ing tragic. I can't imagine either side thought he was good.

Would have liked more SoG. We lack composure in front, excluding our one moment of brilliance. I guess Sargent had a good attempt too.

My consolation prize will be that GB should be gone in the next cycle. Unless USSF does what they do best.

We are way too slow of thought or indecisive at times in our counters, it's maddening. So many times Weah was waiting for a ball that never came because a player chickened out and either lost the ball or passed it back.

    Zimmerman made a terrible choice.

Why in the hell did we sub for defense. It never has a good result.

CP is a terrible set piece taker. Wastes everything.

    Where was Gio?

Zimmerman is a great defender. But he definitely had his Jeff Agoos moment.

Welp, we lose to England, England clinches first, plays the subs against Wales who gets a draw, and we're out.

Exactly, he saw we werent going to try, and so he could afford to throw players forward. If we had kept attacking, we would have killed them in that space that opened up.

A lot of crying which is understandable. But we still left the first group game with a point. So many fans would love to be able to say that about their team.

lol, England's subs can absolutely win against Wales. They're insanely deep, which is why they're one of the tournament favorites. Unless Southgate tells them to openly go half-speed, that'll be a tough game for Wales, especially if they NEED a win.

Yeah I’ve already said how I feel about this team once the roster was announced. GGG isn’t good enough, neither are his tactics or roster selections. This just hurts more knowing someone like EPB and Pepi should be starting for the US let alone be on the roster.

Everyone except Tyler Adams. Clearly our MOTM IMO. Dude saved our a@@es after turnovers so many times. I have no hope whatsoever that we can beat or even draw with England.... so it look like we need to beat Iran and hope for a favorable GD. I blame GB for his subs... but I blame the players more for not winning 2nd balls in the 2nd half (outside of Adams). Not an embarrassing result but with a win I think we would have gotten out of the group... Now I think we are going home.

EDIT- On another note... our crosses into the box continue to be horrid... like it is pure luck when it finds someone. So many flat entry crosses. Just abysmal. Sargent had a part in the goal and I don't think he played poorly but he got one of the only good crosses on the day and hit the OUTSIDE of the post. Gotta make the GK make a save on that one.

Oh... and despite CP serving in some good corners in his last club match.... he was awful today in that respect. Just awful.
