The entry requirements are enforced on departure. So of course; each destination of origin will interpret the requirements their own way. Basically you need the printed permit. In Egypt , They scan the QR code on the paper. If your Hayya blew up while you were asleep you’ll have problems when they scan it.
I actually took an Air Canada flight 3 nights ago- and no one asked to see my hayya. I was really surprised.
And even within that, gate agents are different. In Istanbul I provided passport and entry visa pdf (on my phone), then the agent started asking me about Haji Wright. Some other Americans had to show a different agent the passport, entry PDF, Hayya app, app wasn't working, etc. Never had to show Hayya or entry PDF again on the journey, just passport.
Is there a way to gain access to the site; just to resell a ticket? i dont want to buy, just put a ticket up for sale. Is there a link.
hopefully they bring some energy and some fight. I wanna see a competitive match. Ecuador barely broke a sweat last night.
After yesterday experience I say 3 games per day is out of question. I arrived at Al Bayt with express buss from Barwa Barahat Al Janoub. Everything ok until the vicinity of the stadium (a little more than 1 hour I think) where we were stucked in traffic for more than 20 minutes (in fact, we get down from the bus in the middle of the road, we didn't want to wait anymore until the bus station). Imo, the traffic was a disaster around the stadium, without a dedicated line for the buses. Too many private cars. We have to walk 15 minutes until the entrance, than other 20 minutes in the queue. Than other 7-8 minutes, with another gate and stairs until level 3. So, you need a lot of time (even if you are fast). Imo, 3 games per day is a utopy. After the game you will reach the bus in at least 20 minutes (from your seat), than you will have to wait a little until the bus is filled, than the journey itself. Arrived back in Barha Barahat at 22:50. A market was still open (maybe more, don't know), I bought some things to eat/drink. After that, around 12 pm, some argentinians started a party near one cluster. Regarding the atmosphere, the stadium was almost empty at the end of the game. A lot of people left during 2nd half (even at halftime). Many people without football knowledge. It was an event for people who have money to attend it (the most cheaper ticket was +300 euros, you won't see prices like this even in Champions League final)
i think i f...d up with my hayya. everything was showing as approved and i decided to update my profile with the hospitality order number... now its gone under review again... not sure when they will reply to me since am flying tomorrow from dubai with the daily shuttle. not a smart move i admit...
Well it is a crowd.management tool. They take care that everyone is moving at all times so this is pretty effective in that sense. Having said that, i just wanted to warn that it will take more time than if you were permitted to make the connection without it
Call them. they'll fix it fast. Phone: Toll-free in Qatar 2022 Phone: From Overseas +974 4441 2022 as a note to everyone. There is no link between, Hayya, ticket orders, accommodation reservations. etc. dont worry about everything being linked with names and numbers.
Happy to report DIA was a breeze and Al Jahhaniya Fan Village is fine. Arrived last night at 2 am so YMMV at other times. Took 5 minutes to get through customs and to baggage, which was also quick. The passport stamp with the Official World Cup marks was a nice touch. Wayfinding signage at airport was good & there were heavy staff levels with lots of smiles Uber easy to find and was 55 QAR (DIA to Fan Village). Saw it as low as 35 QAR upon arrival. 30-minute drive Check-in was quick and they are happy to help with luggage trolleys. Some of the staff are university students studying hospitality in India, working 12-hour shifts. Be kind. ATM is available by check-in desk at the front of the property. Yes, beds are on the hard side, but comfortable. Shower pressure is good. Hot water won't last you too long Comfortable overnight with just the fan, no AC. AC is not crazy loud. Starbucks opened around 9 onsite. WIfi is fine for browsing or queueing in line. No pw. As reported - windy & no shade at big screen, but may be fine after sundown Carrefour is HUGE and well-stocked. 8-minute walk away at the Mall of Qatar. Water is cheap and plentiful (7 QAR for 6-pack of 1.5 Liters) Fan boxes for under $20 if you need to enhance your game day gear Happy match day, all!
Thank you for this input. I am sat on a couple of game tickets to know more on the Al Bayt travel situation and this provides a lot of clarity. Game 41 & 44 would be very tough to accomplish and same goes for 36 & 34. Also to consider is the additional home fans traffic last evening and this would hold true for Nov 29th. That being said, I have been toying with the idea of 3 games a day for the lower half of the schedule, wherein Al janoub to Lusail would be the longest/worst combination. But the general schedule is Al Janoub-Education City-974 and finally, Lusail, going from south to north Doha and it's valid for Nov 26/28th. I have my concerns on missing parts of a couple of games and I have tickets for only two of the matches on each day at this point. But I am hoping to obtain more info on this board, before I decide one way or the other.
Something I forgot to mention about FIFA fan fest but figured y’all should know is that they only take cash (QAR) or if you’re paying by card, Visa card only. If you’re like me and only have Mastercard you can stop at a visa booth to get some Visa cards preloaded with 500QAR each.
My guess it will be like this for the Qatar matches only. Word on the street is locals were encouraged to use their cars to arrive to the stadium. We’ll see after tomorrow. I say after tomorrow because the three games for today have pages upon pages of tickets available in the resale market so I am not expecting full stadiums.
Can you elaborate on this a little more? @marianelah Don't see how the gate is an issue here unless... you purchased say one ticket (main) and then you received another ticket later from somebody else (was sent to you) in different section. Then I can see the problem. "4) at stadium gate I was directed to my specific gate. It may be an issue if you’re letting others use your main ticket. You’ll have to walk them and scan them in with a burner. Or log into their phone."
Can I transfer a ticket that has already been transferred to me? Context: I already have a Spain x Germany. A friend of mine has two and wants me to sell his. If he transfers his ticket to me, can I send it later to someone else?
