I'm sure you guys have seen this before but, if not, it's pretty bloody funny. It's WoW and some guy losing his shit when people aren't doing what they're supposed to be doing... I've never played Wow and, watching it, if they're all like that, I'm unlikely to start
So, I've started playing New World recently and I find it a bit clunky. One of the people I know said it seems a bit like a game designed by someone who's read a book about how an MMO works and tried to do that rather than designed by people who play games. Also, as I'm running it on Linux using the Proton interface it's pretty slow although, tbf, that might be because my PC is quite old now and probably needs replacing.
I've been giving Fallout 4 a third attempt at finishing the main quest line (so a new play-through). So yeah, I've been playing a seven year old game. And I've finally made my way through it. It's funny, apparently most people hated the Railroad faction but I've actually gone Railroad this time around and it kept my attention a lot more for the main quest lines than the Brotherhood or the Minutemen. The former is boring all around, the latter very repetitive. And never considered going Institute. Since I have no interest in Fallout 76, this might be it for me in terms of wandering the post-apocalyptic wastelands until the release of Fallout 5.
Maybe some of your guys might find this interesting. It's me and a canuck mate of mine 2-manning some vet dungeons, (intended originally as 4 man content), on speed runs in a little contest we had for our Elder Scrolls Online gamer guild. It was actually a lot of fun. As you'll quickly realise, you can hear my highly sophisicated and erudite tones on the voice-over. That's right... it's NOT a member of the royal household as you might have thought
Damn. Another deadly virus, several alien invasions and a nuclear explosion in 2023? Not looking good for us if the predictions of video games come to pass.
Currently playing chivalry 2 it’s amazing, I’m on PS4 so I can only imagine the next gen and pc versions being great
I don't know but I'm guessing this is typical of the MMO experience over the years so many of the phrases will be familiar such as pick up group = PUG, downloadable content = DLC and hard mode = HM. Anyway, made me laugh
Most of you probably already own the games if you're interested in the fantasy/sci-fi genre but for those who don't, Steam currently offers the complete editions of Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect Andromeda for just 15 Euros total. It's a pretty good deal.
I played the Diablo 4 beta and I’m hooked. I haven’t played a Diablo since the first one came out when I was in middle school, but I dumped enough time into the beta to reach max level with my fire sorceress. The Diablo 2 & 3 bundle is on Xbox’s spring sale so I picked them up to play the campaigns while I wait for D4 to come out.
I am looking forward to this one as well. Waiting for the reviews though. Regretted the DIII pre-order with the Auction House disaster.
A cash auction house for items and Blizzard would take a giant commission for every item purchased. They also initially designed the item economy in a fashion that gave players tons of randomly generated loot not suited for their chosen class or play style to encourage cash spending on it. It was a giant clusterfvck and they had to completely revamp the item economy after all the backlash.
Sounds like a Bobby Kotick move. I’m a little worried about the battle pass. So far everything I’ve read has the D4 battle pass system being cosmetic only and I hope they keep it that way. I don’t play often enough to ever finish battle passes.
Anyone out there play any older PC football games that they can successfully mod with the latest teams/squads? Current year Fifa and PES offerings are horribly reviewed so not even going to try those out.
I am currently playing Immortal Fenyx Rising. It's a joyful and colorful fantasy action adventure involving Greek gods and titans. I was skeptical at first but I'm liking it after three hours into the game.
How about that Starfield Direct from yesterday? I know to be patient with my hype for a Bethesda game not being a buggy mess at launch but the ambition shown in this game is off the charts. felt like Bethesda saw everything from Mass Effect, No Man's Sky, and Star Citizen and said:
Started with Baldur's Gate III. I never tried any of the early access versions so this is a brandnew experience. I have to say that after all the boasting about the vastness of the character creator, I thought it was impressive but not nearly as exhaustive as I thought it would be.
A bit under eight hours into BG3. It's an okay experience so far. Had to get back into the specific rhythm of combat. Somehow feels slower - if that is the right word - than in Divinity Original Sin II.
